I can’t believe they even sell a computer this slow at BestBuy, much less charge for it. Even if it was a free, I still don’t think I could recommend it. I purchased this for my father who is 70+ years old and even he was annoyed at how slow it was. He said that his 10 year old computer that I replaced this with was faster. I contacted BestBuy 2 weeks after the 2 week return window closed and was told that I could trade it in but the value was only $50. I asked for a recommendation to buy more RAM and Crucial 8GB was recommended. I purchased the 8GB from an online competitor which was less than half the cost at BestBuy only to discover that this computer has 2 4GB of RAM so I have to replace both of the 4GB to get the maximum 16GB that it allows. This computer was a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself and buy something better. I see now they’ve even hiked the price on this dump but it was $199.99 when I purchased in December 2025.

Overall the system is more like 4 stars but since it is a setup for my 81 year old father it is perfect! I would suggest to anyone starting out with a new PC or older individuals who just need to peruse the internet and pay bills.

My new computer is easy to use and was afforadable. I am a total tech member and best buy took care of all the set up and transfer. I am always satisfied with all of my purchases and if i gave a prob they are there to help

I don't know if it's Windows 11 or this new computer. This thing has delays in simple operational processing that are ridiculously long & extremely frustrating. My fairly ancient Windows 10 computer (no longer security supported by Microsoft) is so much faster than this thing. I hate it. I wish I hadn't bought it. I spent even more money buying new software that is now located on this snail of a computer. I only use my computer for email, paying bills, word processing, Quicken books, and little else. I am not a gamer or tied to my computer in any sense. This thing is nothing but wasted money and frustration. I have no idea why it has such good reviews. So absolutely unsatisfied!

Light weight and easy to install and fits my desk perfectly

This desk-top computer was a replacement for the same computer that became unusable, but this one does not have a disk drive.

The Acer Desktop was a great investment and a great upgrade, I am glad I decided to purchase it
