I've purchased this laptop due to my old laptop breaking, so I was looking for a new one for my last year as a Uni student and be useful after Uni. As a computer science major, this laptop does hold up, especially with the specs it has. I also do believe this is a great laptop for those entering Uni/College with the exception of those who are going into Computer Graphics Design, I would recommend an i7 versus an i5. I didn't give it a full 5 stars because there are minor things that do bother me, such as a really sensitive mouse pad, and you have to click in a certain spot to right click or else it's just a regular left click. This also doesn't have an ethernet port or optical drive (CD/DVD Drive).

excellent performance, great speed and brilliant colors of the screen

The price was good but would have been better with a SSD hard drive. In use for 3 months so it's still a little early to tell you anything else. Seems to hold up to its daily use.

This is a very easy to use laptop. Sleek, lightweight, fast startup, vibrant screen. Love the 10key pad - it's like having a desktop without the bulk. Screen size is comfortable for working on projects of long duration.

I enjoy the abilities of this laptop - my only complaint is the left hinge doesn't work in sink with the other hinge. I called Acer about this & they seemed not to know anything about this even though I saw many comments online. If you don't mind manually adjusting the screen, all else, so far, seems reliable.

my first touch screen. works well regular too. lots of features that i barely use but nice to have. good speed and memory so far. a bit of a slow start up but that's OK. screen is sensitive (but not fragile) so be careful when adjusting and the single button-less touch pad is taking me time to get used to.

Great computer with an outstanding IPS display panel. I am a photo enthusiast an use a display calibrator. The screen is so good out of the box that there is virtually no change after calibration. Out of the box the hard drive is a bit sluggish so I put in an SSD. Boots windows in less than 15 seconds now!

Smaller than my previous computer, but lighter in weight which is good for travel. Nice for night time use with under key lights. Key board works smoother than my previous computer.

Fantastic and versatil computer. I can install all tools for my work. Excellent perfomance, design, display definition and comfortable keyboard. Weight makes your transport comfortable. Is a good choice for freelance workers who have to go from one customer to another.

The salesman knew what he was talking about when he sold me this laptop....and it has 10-key!! When doing bookkeeping 10-key is a great feature and its getting hard to find laptops with 10-key anymore. Crisp/clear screen and the laptop is very lightweight and very user friendly.

It’s more than what I needed in a computer but for the price it can’t be beat.

Fast, great screen, good speakers, good camera for Skype. Really like the touch screen. Only con to the whole thing is that it's a little heavy. Thumbs up!!

This computer is full alum and has a very nice premium feel to it. And when it comes to screen quality it is top notch compared to all others. The only thing that is a negative is the 5400 speed hdd. but i cant complain for the price.

I'm very happy with this computer. The screen is perfect for movies and Netflix viewing. A lot of storage for my music as well. Light weight and easy to travel with. The tablet feature is perfect for reading news articles and books.

It's fast and I love the fact it can fold into a tablet. I haven't used the tablet feature much but touch screen is really helpful.

I'm very happy with my new computer. It is super fast and was offered at a great price. I purchased this computer because of the memory - I edit and store a lot of photos. The representative that helped me was knowledgeable.

Everything seems to be working as planned. Build is fine and screen is good. Not super fast but good for videos and Excel.

Got it on sale and for the price this was an exceptional. Good hd screen, aluminum body, fast, lots of nice features.
