Good High Res Monitor

great picture, dismal speakers

The onboard speakers are so quiet, and tinny that they're completely worthless even in quiet environments. I have a $10 set of logitech speakers that I'm using in a pinch until I can upgrade, and they're FAR superior to the onboard ones on this monitor. Beyond that the monitor is fantastic, brilliant color, response time and the build itself is sturdy and professional

Some flaws when used with a Mac

I do have some issues when using with my MacBook Pro: Getting it to work at the proper resolution was kind of a pain and there’s a flicker evident whenever I scroll in a window too quickly. Since this is (probably) a Mac issue and not an issue with the display itself I’m still pretty happy.
