    I am so pleased with my purchase (September 2023). I looked for a similar laptop to the one I had for 12 years, but wanted to eliminate features that took up a lot of space and whlch I never used. The Acer Chromebook 317 fits my needs and my pocketbook perfectly. Please review the full list of specifications as this is what sold me on this laptop.

    I'm sensitive to speed and have no issues in that regards (I also own a Pixel book Go i5 8GB). This unit is heavy... expected for 17.3 in her. I love it so far.

    This is a great Chromebook. Very nice large display makes seeing everything so much easier. The back lighted keyboard sounded like a waste until I started using the device. Makes seeing the keys a lot easier, especially if you are a non-typist like me. The process is fast which provides quicker page changes. Overall, I like it a lot.

    Well pleased with this laptop. Just wish there were more mainline apps available. I will have to get a Windows one to run my genealogy software, which I knew before I bought this.. That said, this is an excellent choice for surfing, online buying, emailing, checking accounts, etc. The screen size is great for us older people who have problems with small fonts and icons. Good price too.

    Giant screen, great specs, know what a chromebook is - can do - can't do before buying! This isn't a windows PC, that said as a power user, I'm typically using chrome, it does what I need 99% of the time. This is a great deal at $379, wait for the sale

    Got this for online steaming vs buying a new tv. My tv is 4 years old only one streaming service is available. So it was cheaper to get this item. Also its a good size for traveling.
