I had to get a new one because the older version couldn't update anymore. As always, the product works great for a great price and will last 10 years.

My new Chromebook

I am just beginning. It is not too much different than my old toshiba laptop that had windows xp, but I will get there. I haven't used the ai yet, like I said I am just learning about the different things this chromebook can do for me.

Don’t forget you can natively run Linux apps so this is a great purchase. The new i3 chip makes this run smooth like butter.

It's light, has good battery performance, and the i3 makes a world of difference running web and/or android apps. I do recommend this model to friends and family looking for a everyday laptop and I would buy again. I gave this product 4 stars for a minor reason. The 5ghz antenna seems to be weaker than other laptops. I am using my 2.4ghz for better connectivity. I should state this is being compared to a MBP so I may have false expectations.

They needed something to just access the internet - youtube, email, shipt, etc. Simple and straightforward. We liked that it had the increased memory - 8GB, and bonus that it came with a case.
