The Chrome OS is probably the easiest OS to use in my opinion. Its not flashy like the Macs or busy like Windows, its just a simple and elegant OS. I switched from all Apple products to all Google products bc i mostly use Google and i like Android better. The flip over use as a tablet is excellent, if not a bit bulky but ive used it that way most of the time. I replaced my Pixel Slate with this and while that had nothing but issues this product is fast and super responsive and i dont plan on going back. Although there are some key changes id make to Google Meet to xompete with FaceTime.

Great performing Chromebook. Everything works really well. It's very far, the screen looks great, the touchpad is fantastic and the keyboard is a joy to type on.

13th gen i5 just flies and the screen is impeccable. Finish and heft are pure luxury. Cherry on the cake: Best Buy deal.

This Chromebook is great if you just need something for email, internet, and maybe taking advantage of Google's suite of apps. The Chromebook looks nice, it runs fast, setup was a breeze, and the ability to use it as a laptop or touchscreen tablet increases the versatility. This was my first Acer and I would buy another in a heartbeat.

Coming from a full Windows laptop, I decided to try out a chromebook as my go to EDC computer. This Acer Spin 714 is awesome. It is quick, powerful, and flexible. I can do practically everything I was doing on my old Windows laptop on this chromebook and have plenty of power to last me all day. I have it sync'd up with my Android phone and can do everything on it except answer calls. I can even send text messages and auto activate and connect my phones hotspot when WiFi is unavailable, without touching my phone. I highly recommed this chromebook for the heavy PC user who does most of their work on the cloud.

I've had this Chromebook for a month and I'm happy with it. The keyboard is very comfortable, the screen quality is good and I run it pretty hard and the processor performs well.

I love this Chromebook. It’s perfect for work. It can handle more than a few tabs. Works well with Google suite. Recommend for anyone who uses Google One and the Google suite. The speakers are in an odd place but it doesn’t impact my daily activities.

I just got this chromebook yesterday, I love it super fast delivery. Excellent price and excellent value this laptop was at least 100 dollars cheaper on Best Buy's site than other sites. thank you

Very happy with this purchase. Quick to charge and lasts long. Good processing speed. Great to take in vacation if you need to do some work. I use it to zoom with remote staff

Great device: screen, battery, keyboard, trackpad, touch screen, weight & power for running apps. The flip + drawing hability with a Stylus is excelent, I study medicine and need to draw from time to time and it works great! I take notes on Google Docs and add drawings with Google Cursive on my notes, it's a very seamless proccess and it works amazing. I used other apps before but price/benefit was not great. With Google and this chromebook it works great.

Love this computer! It's fast, easy to use, excellent keyboard and display. I looked at several chromebooks befire selecting the Acer Spin 714 and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Slick device, great screen, fast to setup. I enabled a Linux dev environment too. Lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. I feel confident about the number of USB ports and the HDMI. Also having Android apps on it makes it much easier to sync with my phone than a windows laptop would. I'm happy with it overall as a web developer who already lives in chrome and needs Linux support

Awesome Chromebook. This is the third Acer I own. The first two are still operational but it was time for Chromebook with more juice. The upgraded i5 processor and 8GB of RAM is great! I am disappointed that it doesn't come with an SD reader--like the previous version. But overall...I have no complaints.

Excellent Chromebook with fantastic screen. Bought it to replace an old iPad and laptop. Works great for watching streaming, surfing the Web, writing email and checking social media. Very lightweight with an excellent keyboard and track pad. Great job on this Acer

I LOVE this laptop. It's incredibly fast and convenient to use. I have both my personal account and my school account on here and it switches between them in a snap, and maintains such a high speed when I have a large workflow. The design is very tough and premium. The display is the perfect size in my opinion and has beautiful quality. I've used Mac and Surface before, but this is like my Goldilocks zone. Perfect.

At this price point, you have certain expectations for quality and functionality, which this Chromebook fails to deliver. The specs are solid and appear to be "high-end" for any 14" 2-in-1 laptop, it's fast, responsive, and plenty of storage. The issue is mainly with quality. First, the keyboard just feels average, but it is acceptable. The touchpad has a "loose" feeling where it doesn't feel fully attached to its base. This is a very common flaw with low-end notebooks. The speakers are effectively useless. They sound super tiny and have no depth. My phone sounds better. Seriously. The LCD panel itself is also low quality. The colors are washed out, there is light bleed at the corners, and it's not something you'd expect on a standard notebook at this price point. The hinge mechanism, touch responsiveness, and other aspects are average. Otherwise, it's just another Chromebook that has priced itself beyond what its quality would justify. This needs to be in the $400-$500 price range. Also, preferably, I'd like to see them actually make a $700 Chromebook, as this one is "listed," but with appropriate quality build and parts. For me, it's simply not good enough for what I paid - even on sale in late 2023. If you can find it cheap enough and aren't concerned with the negatives, it would be a perfectly acceptable Chromebook for most average users.
