This is my second Acer Chromebook and it has met all expectations. Performance is snappy, the display is outstanding. Sound quality is above average for this size class. Relatively large trackpad performs well. Backlit keyboard a plus. Screen hinge is well engineered. Recommended.

Great chrome book!! Bought this for my grand daughter to use in school. They use chrome for everything. She was able to sync with her school tablet and now she can do everything on hers if she has to. Who knows. The chrome book I got her is AWESOME!. Very fast processor and a REAL SSD drive. Highly recommend this chrome book!

I bought this for my son, who is attending online school. The laptop is snappy and has all the hardware to support it. The setup process was easy and I was up and running within minutes. Major advantage of this device was the USB C charging. All my other devices use USB C and so finding a cable and/or charger is no effort.

I'm used to Windows, so using the Chromebook and everything Google is a bit of an adjustment. It's a little difficult to navigate but once you get the hang of it, it's so easy to use and very fast. I really like that it's touchscreen as well and that it's so thin, you can take it anywhere.

Been using a year now, still the best device after upgrade have all the space I need, the 3:2 Ratio is perfect for Tablet like surfing, New model with Gorilla Glass is calling me though, hope it is as feature rich, best purchase especially powerful for any Apps it literally has no lag when working

I had an older laptop, and decided to try replacing it with a Chromebook. I understood that I wouldn’t be able to run the executable software that I had accumulated for the ole PC over the years, but I hadn’t really made use of the laptop for anything except my taxes for the past 3 years. I also have an iPad that I use for games and email. But I wanted to try out a Chromebook, and this one had some really good specifications for a really good price. I’ve had the Chromebook for a few weeks now, and must say that I’m really quite pleased with it. It boots up in several seconds (well under 10), and, once you figure out how to navigate, it’s like being on a really fast internet line. It requires no added anti-virus software, because that’s built in to the system. I’ve tried a few games, but mainly am going to be using this to examine and “clean up” a bunch of old, personal files that I had put onto several external drives and thumb drives over the last 10-20 years. Once I’m done with that, I’ll continue to use it for virtually all my internet activities that I don’t think I’ll want to use on the iPad. I’m really happy with my decision to use a Chromebook, and have no intention or need to return to a standard PC-type laptop.

2 stars only because it wasn't a good fit for what i need. I need to be able to organize my documents into folders and be able to find them easy. This computer doesn't have much storage and everything goes onto the cloud, which is fine, but i couldn't figure out how to keep different documents into different folders and retrieve them quickly and easily. Also, you can't put your adobe photoshop software on it, big deal breaker there. And office was hard to navigate. Just to much trouble. Otherwise i really liked it, it's fast and lightweight and good battery life. Would be perfect if i didn't need stuff for my work. And the price was great, less than 500 during the Amazon prime thing. But I returned it.

Lightning Fast and Supremely Made. After doing benchmark research, this model was in the top 20% for performance and much less expensive than the corporate models. Having owned 5 previous Chromebooks, this is by far the best I've ever used. Plus, its size is very handy as some of the larger versions are too large for general use.

I received this on Feb. 18 and now writing a review on March 8. I payed about $564 for this and it's not worth more. So there are problems with this, the first the screen does this flickering (happened more during the first 3 days of use) and when videos are played through the hdmi the pointer and time bar stay up and flicker along with subtitiles. The sound is really low compared to other computers/tablets i've used. I would give more time before writing a review but a new problem has shown up when uses the hdmi. Normal you would go to setting and mirrior the screens but this (after usesing about a dozen times) no longer works, you get sound but no picture. However using the decrease brightness does work. Why the first method no longer will work is beyond me. It is doing what I need it to but i'm wary on how long this is going to last, which I do find concerning. On a positive note it does feel well made.

I ordered this online and picked it up the next day. No hassle, in and out. It is living up to the reviews, no problems so far, I have had it for about a month about a half. Very quick to power up, very nice screen for streaming videos. Touch screen is very responsive. It is exactly what I was looking for and I am happy to have it

Easy to use and lot of value because it has all the ports you need, lot of onboard storage and micro sd slot. Compatibility with my Android phone thru my Google account is useful and the screen is great for YouTube and short videos. However, if you fold back the keyboard, the tablet configuration is a bit heavy to hold for a long time.

my son had purchased this computer for himself and the husband used it and fell in love and we had to come and buy a second. The ease of set up was a breeze. it starts up so fast. the sound and video quality are amazing. the fact that it turns into a tablet too is great and very useful. This acer is an amazing chromebook.

After reading a number of reviews I decided to purchase the Acer Spin 713 as my next chromebook, and I am glad I did. Good chromebook, bright display, lighted keyboard, powerful. I am a longtime chromebook user, and this is the best chromebook I have had. Best Buy was very efficient in ordering and delivery.

All in all my new Chromebook has been excellent. I do freelance web development and design, so I spend most of my time online and using web based tools. This Acer Chromebook has been very efficient and has enabled me to fly through completing my personal and client projects online. It's a very good value at a very good price.

Great Chromebook for a power user, the 3:2 aspect ratio is ideal for writing, programming, spreadsheets, etc. An all-round winner. Keyboard is nice, touchpad is really good, backlighting on the keyboard comes in handy. The cpu is really zippy. I dock it to a 4k monitor with an external keyboard and mouse for extended work sessions.

This is perfect and exactly what I needed! I needed something to do surf the web, write up simple documents, check & send emails, stream, etc. I only con I gave found is the speakers aren’t in the best place, so the sound to me isn’t the best. But overall, I’m very pleased with this chrome book!

I purchased this laptop after reading a few reviews, and then returned it after a week. The build seemed fairly decent and the screen is good. The Camera is average quality but acceptable. The deal breaker for me was the Speakers. They are located on the bottom and do not project forward. Even at full blast I constantly found myself trying to increase the volume. Trying to watch any videos with the slightest amount of background noise was impossible. If it had better speakers, I probably would have kept this item.

Replaced a Samsung Chromebook Pro which kept freezing up right after the warranty ran out. One month in and I am very happy with this laptop. It is slightly larger than my old one but can handle larger fonts which is nice. Best Buy had it on sale and I think that it was a good deal.
