3:2 ratio, plenty enough ports, backlit keyboard, very nice display, 10th gen intel processor and 8GB of RAM. the SSD is on the low side but you can search around to get it upgraded if you are determined. The only con is that it's a bit hefty than I expected.

I bought this chrome book for my kids to use for their schooling when needed. One is face to face but has been home a few times quarantined and the other is hybrid and is online 3 days a week. This is a great machine and I would definitely recommend it.

The Spin 713 is an excellent buy, with superior ergonomics and specs when compared to other premium Chromebooks at or above its price range. It's one weakness is its WiFi 6 and/or high speed connection/router compatibility. When connected to at lesst some wifi 6 routers it will intermittently lose its 5ghz connection at higher connection speeds (over 200mb/s). To be honest, I can't tell if this is a wifi 6 issue and/or a high speed connection issue when speeds reach beyond a certain point. But it is definitely an issue with some Netgear and Asus wifi 6 routers. Nor am I certain the same issue doesn't exist with other Intel wifi 6 chromebooks. Heat buildup may also be a factor.

Excellent chromebook! Great alternative to my Asus Laptop. Didn’t realize that Microsoft programs aren’t compatible. I’m old school and still learning. I really enjoy using this product.

Coming from a 2017 Pixelbook, which in my opinion is a benchmark chromebook, this laptop is everything I could have wanted in terms of an upgrade. The screen is big, colorful, and bright. The bezels are minimal, and the build quality is great. It feels solid. The keyboard is also good, but not quite as good as the Pixelbook’s. The battery life so far has been more than adequate in my daily use as well. The aspect ratio of the screen has been great for productivity (I use it for graduate school). The only real downside that I have experienced so far is also a common complaint I’ve seen from other reviewers: the speakers. The speakers are just ok at best. Overall, the compromises are few and the positives make it one of the best chromebooks around in terms of value and performance. Anyone currently in the market for a great chromebook should definitely give this one a try.

I just want to say I really really love Chromebooks and when I got this laptop I instantly fell in love with it. HOWEVER, I returned it because of its lack of compatibility with zoom. During the course of the pandemic, I have increasingly had to use zoom and not having the ability to use certain features on it and it's subpar quality made me feel like I was at a disadvantage. When I bought this laptop, Chromebook worked with zoom to come up with Zoom PWS for Chrome OS and I was so excited to try it. But there were some bugs which was understandable because it was a new app. I had to just bite the bullet and return it to get a windows laptop where I knew I wouldn't have all the compatibility issues. Still recommend though especially if it's for personal use and not for work or school.

This was an outstanding value with 8GB/128GB. Snappy, never slows down regardless of open applications. Wish it had a separate SIM card port but works great with my OP6 hotspot. Great screen ratio for web/sheet viewing. I love it!

I was looking for a great Chromebook for general browsing, email, and writing that was a 2 in 1, and this snappy Acer chromebook fits the bill. Great specs, good performance, nice form factor and responsive track pad. I am delighted with my purchase.

I purchased 2 Acer - Chromebook Spin 713 for my grandchildren for Christmas. The kids were totally surprised and have told me the Chromebook is outstanding. They are able to do remote learning in Michigan and they couldn't be more happy!

Was looking for a chromebook that could flip and would last a while before needing to be upgraded. This fit the bill and it was on sale for 100$ off its normal price. So far no problems with it, it works exactly how I need it to.

I like the product. Store curbside pickup option wasn't good. Given my purchase in a busted box. I didn't open it, just went inside the store right then to exchange it for one in an undamaged box. Later I read in my Best Buy account status that the replacement item was not eligible for return. Good thing the replacement product works! I don't understand Best Buy's system, but it's not customer friendly. Nice folks work there, but store policies are a turnoff.

Sleek slim body, edge bezel is minimal, 3:2 screen is very cool, graphics are quite real, nice feel, gorilla glass touchplate is smooth and fast is the best I've ever used, nice stylish chrome trim, very fast processing, we love it!

I am pleased, I purchased the Chromebook not knowing what to expect. Machine has enough power to cruise the internet at sufficient pace. Chrome apps appear to run much faster than previous versions of the Chromebook I have tried. Display is clear and I actually like the 3:2 display ratio. So it was a good purchase. The only negatives so far are minor, when putting into tablet mode and holding it vertically, the top and bottom don't sit securely so there is a gap between the two. The screen flickers every now and then, and I catch it out of the corner of my eye...so I am not sure what causes it, if it was something I am doing or truthfully how bad it is. That's it, love the backlit keyboard and the HDMI output.

The Acer is very clear and easy to use. I am still learning how to access some items and set it up. Hardest part seems to be opening the chromebook. There is no indentation to allow fingers to get under the lid yo open it.

Much faster than my old Chromebook and even faster than my newish Windows 10 laptop, and costs less. Boots up super fast and I'm online is just a few seconds. I like how there is USB-C on both sides so I can charge it from either side. No more pulling the charging cable awkwardly behind the laptop. The "tent" mode is great for watching videos. I haven't used it much in tablet mode. Feels too heavy as a tablet. But I already have an iPad for that. So far the only limitation I've found is I can't play DVDs with a USB DVD drive. But apparently that's a limitation with all Chromebooks.

Originally, I got this for my wife when her Mac crapped out, but she insisted on sticking with Apple so I took it, and I love it! Fast and flexible and perfect for working from home.

There is no doubt that this is the best chromebook yet. Some people say it feels cheap, which it does, but as long as you are careful when using it, there is no problem. The performance is outstanding.

Does everything I need it to do effortlessly. I use it daily for remote instruction and work related emails and programs. Very pleased. Compact, light and dependable.

Bought for my teenage daughter to replace an older Acer Chromebook, and she's very happy with it. She loves the touchscreen and the fact that it folds back into a tablet. She uses it everyday for school

Lighter and faster than the Spin 13 I bought before. Battery life is great. Screen clarity better than many other chromebooks we have in service. Our nurses love the new model and are begging for more of them.
