    I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I am to write this review. I spent a lot of time researching Chromebooks and I thought this was the perfect one. It's only a year and a half old (I bought it 8/2020) and I started having horizontal lines show up on the screen a few days ago, then some vertical ones as well. I took it to a repair shop and they said that the LED was going and it would cost about twice the amount I paid for this to fix it. I really expected to get a longer life out of this computer. Very disappointed in the quality.

    WARNING: HIGHLY POSSIBLE DAILY WIFI PROBLEMS WITH

    Fine laptop.... but wifi problems. It only happens on this device. Every other in my house will be ok. But this one drops at least daily and then will reconnect or not. It rarely happened intially and thought it was just normal tech bugyy stuff that happens at times, but now it is a daily thing. Looked online at forums etc (which i should've done earlier), but didnt see any good fix, and so many were having this problem. Really dussapointing, and makes it feel almost unusuable, especially considering everything about the laptop is amazing, but when a laptop let alone a chromebook innately has connection problems that happens daily with no good fix, that takes it to a 1 star rating.

    Six weeks later, it won't charge at all and doesn't work. it's had problems charging from day one. Spent $1000 for this piece of junk and my child still needs a computer for school.

    Charging Issues

    Only had product 1.5 months as my son's school computer and this morning, the day after it is no longer returnable, the computer STOPPED charging. This does not appear to be a unique situation for this model so BEWARE. If BestBuy fixes it (for free) rating could go up - when machine works it's fine - but it doesn't really matter how well a chromebook performs if it doesn't charge (OR RUN PLUGGED IN)

    I’ve had this laptop since 2021 and I have no regrets purchasing this computer. It’s fast, premium quality build, has the necessary ports and its touch screen. Making it into a tablet was really helpful for me in certain situations. So for my conclusion, I recommend this laptop for Chromebook users

    The sound on the laptop is very low. I have to hook it up to my speaker to hear. Otherwise an amazing laptop.

    Don't waste your money

    broke after 4 months, the hinges were really bad and upon moving to close position from tablet position it popped, then cracked the bottom of the screen. The 3x2 screen is not great either. And there is no volume whatsoever. Most other tablets similar you can get for $2-300 cheaper already, so i thought this would be better quality, instead it was much worse

    Touchpad wont work

    Worked flawlessly for about 5 minutes then the touchpad stopped working. Couldnt get it to come back up.

    Crappy Screen Flickers

    A month ago the screen started flickering. Unusable were it not for the other monitor plugged in. Just after the warranty expires. I read that this is a really big issue. They need to recall.

    Hardware failed after less than 1 year. Seems to be a memory or CPU issue and now have to deal with trying to get warranty service from the manufacturer. This was my first foray into a non-budget Chromebook and will be my last. Sticking with Windows from now on.

    Worst computer I've ever owned. Had to return to manufacturer for service when it stopped turning on--a known issue with this model. Acer fixed it under warranty, but now six months later and again it won't turn on. I do not recommend.

    Video card started to malfunction <2 years into use. Repair shop said because the video card is integrated into the motherboard, repair will not be cost effective. This is dissapointing.

    I purchased this Chromebook Dec 2020 and LCD screen turned blue. I didn't drop it or sit on it etc. Geek Squad quoted$489 to repair. I paid$600. in my opinion this Chromebook is a p.o.c.

    Turned itself off and wouldn’t turn back on. I only had it 4 months and used it for zoom meetings and some streaming. Waste of money. Very poor quality
