Some real big showstoppers on this unit
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for a few specific reasons: 1. 3:2 screen, 2. Powerful enough to do photo editing and maybe video editing in the future, 3. enough storage that I'd never have to strip off (uninstall) apps to get some more available storage. I come to this with a long happy background in Android, both phones and tablets; and have been very satisfied. but: On this chromebook many of my (purchased) apps are not available. You can't just install all of your installed Android apps on this unit, as you can quickly and effectively do with phones or tablets. A number of apps that are available don't work (such as the SiriusXM app. This forces the User to have even more tabs open in their browser, with no quick way to jump to an app in a different window. To make this even worse, some websites don't work in chrome (again the siriusXM website). That was enough; it is NOT going to be easier and more convenient than my Windows PC. And then the Biggie: So now I'm forced to open all these tabs in my browser. But even when I select 'When opening browser, resume with the tabs you left off with', it reopens with only a single blank tab. YMBFKM! I'm so disappointed. This unit could actually take years off my life! I'm returning it... as for the breakdown below, I lumped all the usability issues in "Ease of use", not Quality. It is a beautiful looking and feeling system, with a great display, super-fast boot-up, great keyboards and trackpad.

DONT BUY THIS LAPTOP FOR SCHOOL
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop for school and I thought it would be a great idea well I was wrong so my teacher said we have to write a essay and we had to copy and paste some words and when I would copy and paste it and press enter it would copy and paste so many times and when I would backspace it would never go away it would keep copying and pasting and on power point I only have 24 slides and it can't handle it
