I purchased this Chromebook for my grandson so that he could use it at school. He does own a great quality laptop, but, when adding that to his backpack, along with the books and other school supplies, it proved to be too heavy to carry around all day at the high school. This Acer unit is sturdy and has excellent features and quality. The touchscreen is great, and it also folds back as a "2 in 1", if needed. I purchased this Acer when it was on sale, and it was an excellent value. There are definitely less expensive Chromebooks out there, but, I think you get what you pay for. It has the right amount of speed, processing power, and hard drive space for my grandson's needs for schoolwork. We are really pleased.

Display looks great. Very happy with the overall performance.

Bought for my daughter. She is not easy on her electronics but this has held up very well. Has minimal damage and seems to withstand a decent amount of bumps and minor drops. The touch screen and the higher resolution bright display is something she really loves.

One of the best Chromebooks I have used. The screen on this computer is so nice, it has a higher than 1080p resolution that looks closer to a high end iPad than your typical Chromebook. The metal construction also feels very high end. The i3 processor is also very fast.

I bought this for a child for school use during the pandemic. The sceeen resolution and display is amazing and so far its held up in terms of its responsiveness for zoom and google suite products as well as browsing etc.

At the low $300s this is an awesome machine. For casual surfing the Internet and similar tasks it's quite quick. It's not a powerhouse computer, but for a basic computer, it ticks all the boxes.

Best Laptop Ive ever owned, silly but I love the clicking of the keys and the backlights. Boots up super quick and the picture is amazing!

I've only had it for a few days but so far, so good. I was a little leary of a 3:2 ratio display, but now that I have it I wouldn't go back to widescreen. And the display is crystal clear and unlike some, it gets very bright. The speakers are fine, about the same as all laptop speakers. The trackpad is smooth as glass. And the touchscreen is gorilla glass and very responsive. I couldn't be happier. The only negative is it's size, for people who want a tablet, I'd go smaller, but I'm not a fan of tablets.

Very good device, capable of much more than let on to me. The crome book guy told me it could only handle 4 tabs at a time but I’ve been able to run nearly 50 before crashing

Top of the line 3-2 ratio, at a great mid range price. Ive used Chromebooks & Linux for years, why bother with anything else. No worries about viruses / security / defragmenting.

Great Chromebook. Works perfectly with all my equipment. Microphones, ear buds, dock station with 1 TB memory added. Use for weekly Google Meetings and Online Research.

I have been a convert to the Chromebook since my first one five years ago. It was a simple Acer unit that I loved until I dropped it recently and it died. I have a laptop that I use only for Windows based programs. 95% of my time I spend online, for which the Chromebook is ideal. This time I wanted a back light keyboard, a compact but not too small unit with a quality screen and better than average build quality, The Spin 713 has it all and can frequently be found at a great price. Highly recommend.

Does not connect to my home printer and you cannot have a background on Zoom.
