Unfortunately I ended up having the same speaker issue so I returned it. Everything else was great so it's too bad they couldn't sort out the speaker issue.

I would Recommend as long as you are using headphones or somewhere quiet so you can hear because the volume isn't that loud.

Works like a charm in some regards. It works great with Google software. However, I had to give it a low rating because it cannot run Microsoft Office software via the desktop app and only online, which messed with the formatting of my files for other people. Additionally, things just don't save the way they save like on a windows operating system. It's honestly a bit of a disappointment as I spent quite a bit of money on it, but I'm sure one day it'll be a great laptop when I'm no longer in school or working a job that requires proper formatting on my pdfs and excel sheets. You wouldn't think of this to be an issue, but for me, this is a deal breaker. Unfortunately, it is too late to return this laptop, but I will be using my old one until I figure out what to do next.

Chromebooks use Google's Chrome OS operating system, which is not compatible with Microsoft's desktop applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. While Microsoft provides web-based versions of these tools through Office Online, they may not have all the features and functionality of the desktop versions. You might try Google Docs which is compatible with Office files. You can also visit the Acer Community forum where there are many posters that offer advice on Acer products as well; the link is http://community.acer.com

It's like the computer is whispering. Totally ridiculous. I can't use it for meetings at all. Or for that matter for any audio related activity.
