Love this computer! It's fast, easy to use, excellent keyboard and display. I looked at several chromebooks befire selecting the Acer Spin 714 and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Never took chromeOS seriously until now. It's a great laptop that provides fast browsing and a lot of features that pairs well with android and Linux applications. Machine is lightweight and battery provides a decent amount of work time.

We purchased the older version w/o AI. It works just fine. Responsive, with smooth acting keys and mouse pad. The screen has good color, contrast and sharpness. We added a Logitech wireless mouse and it is everything my wife expected from her new Chromebook. It replaces a 5 year old Acer Chromebook that had its charging port give up the ghost. The transition went smoothly and it was up and running in a matter of minutes.

Very impressed with this Chromebook. This is a rocket ship compared to the old 11.5" Asus Chromebook I had previously. Bright, crisp HD graphics, fast performance with its upgraded 13th Gen i5 Intel CPU and fast SSD makes this thing sing. Love the Gorilla Glass screen, makes for nice super smooth scrolling on the responsive touch-screen. The games I've played so far run buttery smooth. Also love the back-lit keyboard for when I'm using it in low-light conditions. For a smaller Chromebook like this, the upgraded DTS audio sounds great. And the fact it came with its own nice padded sleeve is just icing on the cake. Yes, this Acer Chromebook is more expensive then most other 14" Chromebooks but with all its features I found it to be easily worth every penny. Nice work Acer!

I don't understand why critics are giving this chromebook low ratings. The chassis is military grade aluminum with no flexing. Much better than the budget units with their plastic decks. Plus the specs are great for a chromebook. Intel Core i5 processor makes this a fast workhorse. I've edited video and photos with no problem. I have had multiple screens opened with no signs of slowing down. The 8GB RAM gives this little machine lots of punch. Then there's the 256GB of SSD storage. Twice what the other Chromebooks offer. And it's not digital. What's not to like. The asking price is ridiculous. However the Holiday deals are out there. I found this at Best Buy for $469, marked down $230. If you can swing the higher price, do it.

it is a very nice little laptop, love that it is touch screen, has a back lit keyboard and can 'flip' into a tablet of sorts. I don't use the pad and prefer to use a cordless mouse. Only problem is the thing seems to want to use an on screen keyboard and will switch to that in the middle of doing something and it's REALLY inconvenient. It seems to be something to do with the position of the hinge and I'm thinking of contacting the Geek Squad to see if it's the machine or something I need to do differently.

For most people, unless there is some legacy Windows software that they require, I would recommend a Chromebook. This particular one is extremely high quality in its construction, and contains a very fast processor. It's very quick and snappy with everything. The screen is sharp, colorful, and strong from multiple angles. My only critique is that the touchscreen is not the most precise in tablet mode compared to an iPad, but that is not primarily how this is intended to be used.

I love this chromebook! Cost 1/2 the price of my laptop. Compact, large screen, high speed and easy to use. Read numerous reviews before purchasing. Im very well pleased.

Bought for my son for school use. Works well. Lightweight and clear. Battery life is solid. My son also connected an Xbox controller for basic gaming. He’s happy with it.

I've had several Chromebooks and this by far is the best. No, it's a Chromebook, so it has its limitations, however, this one has enough power to make it the fastest Chromebook I've ever used. It's got a nice bright screen. Touch pad is receptive. Easy connectivity to Bluetooth devices. Pairs seamlessly with Android phones and tablets.

I love this computer! With my job I have a lot of tabs open, and it has never crashed or slowed down on me! It's very quick and functions great! It was hard for me to find the right computer, I've tried out different computers over the last few months and none of them have been like this computer! I also feel like the colors are more vibrant on this computer compared to other ones I've had. It was a bit expensive, but it is so worth the price, for me!

I like it a lot. I had an ASUS before and was really satisfied with the product. This time I want to try a different brand. As soon as you signed in to your Google account, everything got transferred . No need to set up anything. Keyboard is smooth. And the thing I like about Chromebook is you can open up so many browsers and still work really fast. Unlike window products

Great device: screen, battery, keyboard, trackpad, touch screen, weight & power for running apps. The flip + drawing hability with a Stylus is excelent, I study medicine and need to draw from time to time and it works great! I take notes on Google Docs and add drawings with Google Cursive on my notes, it's a very seamless proccess and it works amazing. I used other apps before but price/benefit was not great. With Google and this chromebook it works great.

Awesome Chromebook. This is the third Acer I own. The first two are still operational but it was time for Chromebook with more juice. The upgraded i5 processor and 8GB of RAM is great! I am disappointed that it doesn't come with an SD reader--like the previous version. But overall...I have no complaints.

As Chromebooks go, the Acer Pin 714 is among the best. It's fast, responsive, and relatively lightweight (<3 pounds). Not to mention the battery life! In my experience, I often exceed the promised 10 hours. Some reviews have noted the sound quality. It's not perfect, certainly not for audiophiles, but it is perfectly adequate for Google Meet and Zoom. That said, when listening to music I prefer using Google's Nest Audio.

This was the perfect replacement for a PC based laptop. We liked it so much that both my wife and I each have one of these Chromebooks. It is the perfect compliment to our virtual Windows PCs that we can access easily from these laptops.

I absolutely love this Chromebook. When I travel I take it everywhere it’s light weight and adjustable. Very easy to use I can do my school work and if I need to connect for work

This is a great Chromebook. We would have given it 5 stars if it were just a bit lighter, but we're not using it for traveling so that isn't a huge issue. The screen is clear and bright, it has a nice selection of ports and jacks, including HDMI, and the keyboard is very comfortable. We picked this model because of the positive reviews it has received and we weren't disappointed.

I love this chromebook! Best buy has the best prices and I trust their packaging and care of the products so I know that when I buy from them I know that i am receiving the best value for my money and time. Online purchase with local pickup was easy and could not have been a smoother process. The associates that greeted me to retrieve my purchase were friendly and helpful. 10/10 all around!
