I'm a graphic design student and was looking for a desktop computer to do homework. I originally wanted an all-in-one. I'm certainly glad that's not the route I took. I bought this monitor for $99 on sale, and I couldn't be happier with the quality. It's high definition, and even though it has a glossy display, doesn't give off too much glare. It's nice and bright, and the color is accurate as well. I hooked it up to a gaming desktop tower (bought because it's easy to upgrade), and have had no issues at all. It only has one HDMI port, but if you buy an HDMI switch, you can hook up a Roku, a desktop, and a laptop like I do. It definitely makes it easy.

I bought a couple of Acer H236HL for external displays to my laptop, and they work perfectly. One of them is HDMI connected, and the another via VGA. The only thing I dislike are the three-clicks needed to control brightness through the buttons. There are many steps and I need to change that option several times per day.

Great image for PC, TV and for games. Easy to mount

Monitor works great and has a clear picture. Only complaint is the inability to adjust the height.

I was just looking for a larger monitor to replace a 19 " model I have. i had an acer computer at work. so I was sure this would be great, and at a fantastic price, would recommend to anyone.

This Acer monitor does a great job for watching HD content. It is very bright, especially on whites, which I cannot figure out how to lessen with the controls. It is not the monitor you want for super-low latency twitch gaming, but it is excellent for the price for all other uses.

The monitor has made doing my college work easier. The screen is crisp and clear. The monitor is much easier on the eyes of a senior citizen like myself,who has a vast amount of college work to do. I would highly recommend this monitor to all my friends. The price was also comfortable to my pocket book and budget.

I have been using my new Acer which replaced a 19" old Acer. Besides the fact it is bigger the images on the new screen are amazing. Crystal clear with vivid color. I am a happy camper!!!

Love these screens they are sleek nice picture quality great price and simple setup.
