I was hesitant to purchase this monitor only because the price was suspiciously low, but I've had no issues with it and it's been working well. I'm a graphic designer, so I'm somewhat picky about things like resolution and color visibility, and this screen has been a great extension of my MacBook Pro. It comes with an HDMI cable which easily allowed me to connect to my laptop.

I bought this as an alternative screen for my laptop and for my xbox while without a tv monitor. The color, contrast, and smoothness of the screen for gaming is really good. The audio out is a bit weak for gaming with non-powered headphones, but it is perfectly adequate for other use. The on-line price was lower than the in-store price, but the store matched it with no hesitation. I'm very happy with the monitor!

This moniter turned out to be very clear Even though all Hdmi's only runs on 1920 x 1080. Have not tried dvi. this moniter well worth the price. No speakers, probley because clarity, the manufacturer thought desktop speakers would sound better, for a Gammer. and good price. Plug on back for headset if your video card supports sound hdmi older computers do not. plug speakers in to computer.

After doing a lot of research on 23 inch IPS monitors, this Acer was clearly the best choice for me. The colors are clean and bright enough for me to do detailed photo editing. I was getting very frustrated using the 13 inch monitor on my laptop. My wife's 5 year old Dell monitor started flickering soon after I got mine, so we got her one too, even though the nice sale I got was off.

I did a lot of shopping around online before I jumped in to buy a new monitor for my Mac Mini. It seemed that the most important criteria for eligible products was (1) had to be HD 1080p capable and (2) had to have at least one each VGA, DVI and HDMI connections. In the end the Acer H236HL was my choice and I am pleased. Screen size, 23 inch, is the best for my desk space. It did not require fine tuning of color resolution and I can't detect any errors in pixel lighting. I originally hooked up the Mini to the DVI port because that was the connection I had on my previous monitor. Then on a wild idea I connected a Roku XD to the HDMI port. The monitor switched automatically to the Roku after I put my Mac Mini to sleep. Kind of cool! The only problem was that I could not sleep the Roku so I could wake my Mini. Not the Acer monitor's fault. Just an over-bearing Roku. Disconnect! Connected the Mac Mini to the HDMI port and it's a beautiful, spacious picture. This was a good buy at Best Buy.

This 23 inch Energy Star monitor was easy to setup and has clear/sharp display. It is full HD/1080p, LED, and has IPS. The only negative part is there are no built in speakers. You have to either purchase external speakers or use head phones. Purchased in Gainesville, FL. Best Buy associate Ricardo was very helpful.

Old monitor died, needed something fasrpt and didnt want to spend over 100 (had a gift card) have had it for two weeks and it works great so far. Nice picture and shows video real smooth. No up down adjustment at all and I would like to lower it so I may put it on a monitor arm.

can't beat this price for what you get. I was shocked by the quality and the picture of this monitor. I bought two of them to have the same resolution. Very please with it. The only thing I would want it better is the steadiness of the stand. The monitor wobbles just a bit if you shake the desk a bit but that's where a dual monitor stand comes in play. I also wished the monitors came with speakers. HDMI inputs are awesome.

Had to replace our 15 year old 17" LCD monitor when it failed. This one looked like a good choice based on specs and reviews. The price was reasonable, too. The 23" monitor was a big upgrade from our old 17" monitor. Hooking up the new monitor was easy too, with the choice of connection cables.

I previously purchased an ASUS 21.5 with low glare matte finish LCD. It had an awful white haze that I hated. Some people like it, I don't. So I returned that monitor and got this one. I decided to go a different route and try the glossy finish. Jackpot! The picture is better than I imagined it could be (especially when using the HDMI). At this point, I use the monitor mostly for entertainment and gaming so having that extra saturation, crispness and response time make all the difference. This monitor is perfect for gamers, graphic designers, or even to turn your laptop or computer into an entertainment center. I wouldn't recommend it for IT related work though because the matte finish can be tougher on the eyes when staring at the screen for long periods of time. My only complaint - the speakers on the monitor are kind of a joke, but I purchased a $15 set of speakers from Amazon Basics to account for this and I'm completely satisfied.

Purchased this monitor when my ancient one stopped working. This one is bigger than I am used to to so it took a couple of days to adjust but it has a great picture and clarity. And the price was right, which was a big factor in the purchase of this particular monitor.

I bought this monitor as a replacement for a 19” Dell monitor that burned out on me. It has excellent picture quality and the widescreen 23” is a great size. The only drawback so far is that the monitor stand doesn’t have much adjustability. You can’t rotate the screen or adjust the height, but otherwise it is a great product.

Local B.,Buy was out of stock so I had to go to about 50 Miles out of town for pick up as I needed this monitor for a Monday morning event. This monitor rivals my $600.00 24" Dell Ultra! This was for a Triple Monitor set up, I trade stocks and options. If you know anything about trading options on-line, you know that Clarity and Definition are Key on a 23" monitor. This monitor filled the bill "Hands Down" Extremely pleased with this purchase all around.

Clear picture. Good price. Had both VGA and HDMI inputs. This was a perfect replacement for a monitor at work, that I can connect both a PC or a Mac to it.

It was a good price with good reviews so I feel I got a great deal. It is mostly used for gaming purposes and so far the picture quality is very clear..with adjusting. I have not had this product very long so I cant say how well it will last...the durability...but so far so good.

This monitor looks great and is the perfect size. I actually use it as a second TV for gaming on my PS4 and it looks amazing. I have friends who game on PC and they complement the screen so I take that as a good sign. For the price you can as for much more.

So I ordered this monitor online not realizing the size of the screen! It is wonderful, but took some time for my eyes to adjust to it as I was so used to my 17" laptop screen! The picture quality is GREAT, and was super easy to set up. Couldn't be happier.

This monitor has a very good image, provided by the IPS LED technology. So good, in fact, I bought a second one. Has DVI and HDMI inputs. Wish it would tilt a little further forward and backward on its stand. No sound provided with this model.
