It’s a bit heavy and a pain in the butt to find a bag big enough to fit it in with the sleeve on it but it’s definitely worth the price. The only Con is the fans are quite loud when they’re on MaX.

There is no noticeable lag for any of the games I have played on it so far; Halo 3, risk of rain 2, and pathfinder kingmaker. I admit none of these are entirely taxing to begin with but it's still good to let other know. Even after running the laptop for 6 hours playing Halo 3 the laptop was only running around 50°c. Overall I'm satisfied with this purchase.

Sound quality is perfect, graphics are absolutely amazing, and there is a lot of storage. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though this specific model lacks the 60 GHz refresh rate, it is still very decent for the price value and does all of what I need it to do besides gaming along with having specs that encompass just how great it is. I had recently added an additional 8GB of memory to the laptop and have not encountered any issues with it ever since prior to my purchase about three months ago. The only con--battery life is about 6-7 hours, but that is to be expected for a gaming laptop sometimes. Overall, I am very satisfied with this laptop as it is a better and improved upgrade in terms of specs and performance versus the 2017 Acer Nitro 5 I use to have.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It conveniently leaves out the fact that the laptop's screen refresh rate only runs at 60hz, which is terrible for a gaming laptop. I only found this out after purchasing since everything in the specifications looked fantastic, I now have to return the laptop and buy the correct specification version from Amazon, which btw is cheaper anyway, so if you are looking to buy a helios 300, buy it from amazon.

There are several different Predator Helios models, many have the standard 60hz display and others go up to 144hz. You can view the specifications of the 144hz models from our site here: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/predator-home. If the product has a refresh rate higher than 60hz, it will be mentioned in the specifications. If there is no mention of a refresh rate, it is at 60hz for that product.
