I did not have high expectation considering the specs and price of this thing. And it is exactly where I expected it to be. In short, should you buy it? Well if you had your eyes on an Amazon 10" tablet; you can buy this any day and save some money plus get google play store instead of Amazon. It is very competitively priced and is probably the best option out there for the price range. (not considering the Chinese OEMs). My recommendation is based on fact that most you do with this is watch Netflix and perhaps play some small games like exploding kittens. it is not meant for work or serious muti application usage. Screen: Its a HD (not FULL HD) screen which does a decent job with colors and viewing angles. You will be wrong in expecting great color reproduction and a very sharp image. But lets say that, on Netflix friends looks good enough to watch when the tablet is like 1-2 feets away. So a decent screen which tops every 7 inch tablet as the size is 10 inches which really makes it better suited for video watching. I really wished a 1080p resolution but at this price point who are we kidding. Audio: Its really tiny; I always have to connect it to a bluetooth speaker while watching amazon video or Netflix; tablet this size and with a dolby dts sticker on its back; I was expecting more. It comes with two cameras and the back one is 5 mp and front is only 2 mp; a little odd decision as people do not use this big tablets as camera device; but they use these doe skype and though technically 2 mp is more than sufficient for close to hd video, I think it suits more to have a better camera in front than back for a 10" tablet. I liked the build quality; for the price .... a lot. The back has a textured feel to it and that makes it really good to hold; the tablet comes with a stand to put it and that does a good job holding it on a flat surface; not so much on your beds. There is a micro sd card slot; and it is covered with a steel color cover and weather you like or not is upto you; but I prefer covered sockets. There is a separate micro usb connecter. And yes unlike the mighty iphone; it comes with a head phone jack; the bluetooth works just fine as well. The benchmarking: Antutu score is above 32K; for reference my 2012 Nexus scores 17K and my Lg G4 scores 66K. The cpu is fast enough for this budget but I think the RAM could have been more; even 1.5 GBs would have made it a strong choice over insignia and samsung tablets. One good thing is that it has 5ghz wifi band; something which i think should be standard now that 2.8 ghz wifi is so crowded. Overall a good budget tablet for the price. Nothing extraordinary here; but at this price point; you are not looking for extra ordinary.

My husband loves this and uses it for work. He is a Real Estate Agent and it is handy and can be used anywhere.

It works fantastic with all of the apps installed. I highly recommended it. I will buy it again in the future.

A durable and useable tablet nice size screen only trouble is the case I found for it covers up the camera

Bought this as a present to my grandpa. It's not a work horse but it's good for surfing and nongaming apps. Depending on what your needs s a great prpsych.

Bought tablet for husband who was using laptop to search things on internet. Loves the tablet, speed and fact he doesn't have to carry around a bulky laptop.

I bough this for my nephew, he enjoys it but is is very limited and slow, if you have/use iPad this will be a disappointment but my new phew love the table.

Easy and simple to use good for videos as long as the bandwidth isn't lagging. Slow start up is the only con.

I purchased this for my mother. It's great because it's easy to use and easy for us to load games on to.

The next evolution in Acer's line of lower entry level tablets finds willing customers and I was one of them. I also own an acer chromebook and this latest Iconia Tablet has the same build quality and feel. It's light, almost to the point of cheap, with textured plastics making up the back and a smooth front. The bezel was a little larger than other newer tablets, but that seems to be a trade off in the budget range. I didn't experience any issues with the OS taking up quite as much as 800megs of memory, but I did notice it was slow to multitask, having an easier time running only one thing at a time. This tablet is definitely built to run in landscape mode with two well placed speakers and a bright, if low resolution screen. For the price point I found this to be a fairly high value, but it won't be unseating my iPad anytime soon, more likely end up in the kids hands on road trips. My biggest gripe, however, is that so many of these companies insist on adding additional software to the Android system. Unnecessary launchers and widgets and such. Many of them appear as icons masquerading as installed software, only to kick you into the Play store to download that app after you click it. I appreciate preloaded apps and I understand, I just wish there was a "bare android" option for tablets like these. It would probably be faster if it just had stock Android on it, but Acer insists on adding other things to it. As it is I can uninstall the apps.. just the widgets get in the way. All this addon-ware leads me to a three star review rather than a four star one. General Impression: This tablet is a nice little budget performer. Don't put it in the hands of someone who expects speed and performance, but it'll crank out the video if that's what you want. Battery life in on par and sound and screen aren't knockouts but they'll get the job done.

Got this at a great price and was the overall bang for your buck. System was fast and had plenty of memory.

I give this product two thumbs up. Easy to use and stay charged for at least 6 - 8 hours while using.

Fast and lots of memory for storage and has function to filter out blue light and protect eye sight.

The tablet is easy to operate. Resolution is very sharp. The only minus is the battery life. Battery lasts about half as long as my previous tablet.
