I was afraid 1GB RAM is not enought but I was wrong. It is a good product.

Out of the box easy set up and ACER has some good apps to offer. Temper the following PROS and CONS with the price. PROS Good display, colors, brightness, HD capable Excellent audio on this model Good camera but not great Micro SD slot to increase storage CONS Feels flimsy..cheap but has been durable so far Screen is a fingerprint magnet, even more so than my other devices Wants you to use it in landscape mode which just takes some getting used to however will rotate screen to portrait. Slow response time. I first loaded it the same way my phone was set up. It seemed very, very slow. I then reset it and set it up as a new device, a little better as it was now set up like a tablet. The touch screen seemed to be iffy at times. This is not a fast tablet, it often has to think for several seconds before it does what you command, it only has 1 GB RAM which always seems to be at capacity. I connected to my network late at night when usage was non-existent, still slow as compared to other devices. I find the battery life to be lacking compared to "fruit" products, no experience with other android tablets. ACER claims 10 hours, even at medium use I doubt it would get me there. Good thing is you are never far from a USB outlet. I would consider this for a kids first tablet, by kid standards these days 5 and under. It just can't compete with some of the other tablets for an adult for few hundred dollars more.
