This is a great smudge free android tablet using kitkat. We use it for streaming video, playing games on wifi and have no lag time and a great picture.

Wanted a tablet with a semi-decent screen to display the output from a few security cameras. Battery life and display are as to be expected for this price range, and 1 GB of RAM will be a hindrance for high app usage, but it fit my needs and the price was right. Note: If you are looking for cases for this item, the cases designed for the Acer Iconia B1-810 fit this perfectly.

Tablet works great in the hands of my 8 yr. old grandson. Processing speed is quite good for tablet in this price range. Graphics are also very good. Screen is bright enough and big enough. Could have a few less on board apps though.

Great size, easy to use, its as simple as you want it to be. You don't have to utilize all features if you dont want to

The size and battery life is perfect. Use it as a teaching tool for seven year olds and it never hangs, no need for rebooting and it just keep the engagement

For the money it is really hard to beat this tablet. Runs smooth, very smooth. Looks great, screen is great. Great tablet for my kids and for me to surf on.

Bought it for my 11 year old daughter and she loves it! Long battery, good screen resolution, no lag and pretty zippy! Highly recommend and will probably buy another one for my other daughter!

I purchased this tablet for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. The screen is clear and crisp runs on Android and has plenty if memory for downloading games. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because its camera is lack luster and had to do master reset due to malfunction. Overall good tablet for the kiddos.

Originally bought the dell but returned it because it would freeze up then stopped charging. I can say this is as fast as my laptop and long battery life.

I also have a size 10 tablet (different brand) but this Acer Iconia Tab 8 is lightweight and easier to use.

Good processor and graphics, but if you are looking to get a good camera in your tablet, rear and front, you better consider another device, but if you don't mind about camera, pixels resolution, this is a good choice.

On Mother's Day a decided to introduce some technology to my mom, so a friend of mine suggest a tablet for basic communication would be a great present. I'm really happy that my mom is enjoying Skype, messenger, pandora, etc. This tablet is the best, fast and easy to to handle. Thank you Acer, Iconia is amazing.

The has works just fine. It is great for reading books and playing games. However, the weak part of this tablet is the camera for example, for use with Skype the front camera has poor quality other than that is ok.

Nice tablet for the price, actually really fast too! I've had several tablets and the Acer - Iconia Tab 8 - 8 - Intel Atom - 16GB - Silver ranks right up there with the best of them. I actually went in to the Best Buy to purchase an ipad and after comparing the 2 tablets I chose the Acer, it's faster and just what I needed, anything else was overkill!

This is an excellent tablet as a first purchase to introduce my wife to IT gadgets. I purchased it for her to play games and read books since she is recently diagnosed with early Alzheimer's. he loves it and I purchased it since it used the same operation system as my cell phone, therefore I could teach her how to use it.. GREAT SIZE OF A SCREEN!!!

I bought this tablet for my child. It works great and is very fast .The screen is also very nice. You can't beat it for the price .

We bought this tablet for my husband, who had never had one or used anything but his smart phone, so he could replace the old laptop in the house. Android OS, user friendly, easy to unpack and just charge it up and go. Great value.

Overall a great tablet @ the price it is if your intention is entertaining kids. Also not bad for light web surfing. Will sync with my other devices so grandsons pictures get saved to my personal cloud where I can see his enjoyment first hand. In some cades it rivals my Chromebook. Over all a good deal and I've seen it for as little as $79.00 at one point.
