We are sorry you are unhappy with your Acer monitor. The key specifications on Best Buys site under Feature does indicate this monitor does not have speakers. Most monitors don’t come with speakers built-in because this would add size, weight, and price. In most cases monitors are connected to a desktop PC that already has an audio source connected, or a laptop that has built-in audio. Additionally, monitors with built in speakers are generally very low wattage, ie: 1W-2W; most users would prefer a more robust sound system via powered USB speakers or headphones for best quality sound. Gave the gift to my nephew and a week later he went to set it up in his dorm and it does not work. 1 day past the return period so we are stuck with a broken monitor. Never again
