Bought this as an outboard monitor for our college student daughter's laptop. It was on a great sale at $129.99...and it is really great...she loves it. Colors are superb etc...i have no idea how well it would work for gaming, but it certainly is a great looking monitor...zero gripes.

This monitor is terrific. And the built in speakers are nice. The stand is really, really great, and feels easy to use, and it even lets you turn your whole screen by rotating the base!

Monitor has treated me very well. It is very smooth and has a good frame rate. Would purchase again!

This monitor is great as an entry level gaming monitor. It routinely goes on sale and I would definitely recommend it at $130. Ergonomics such as tilt and stand adjustment aren't great, but once again, it is an entry level monitor. Picture quality, contrast, and brightness are all excellent.

Looks good and works good for what it is. Considering how inexpensive it is, it's fantastic! Use it for my PC gaming, looking to ugrade to something "beefier" now, but for starting out or normal day to day function it's great

Great monitor for price. I picked it up for $150 during a sale. It's IPS panel with 165Hz at 1080p. It is g-sync and free-sync compatible. However, it's not Nvidia certified. Picture quality is really good, but it need proper calibration. I havent tested 120Hz for xbox, so I am not sure if it compatible.

Great budget monitor, many settings and great color. Would recommend to anyone looking for display.

The price, refresh rate and IPS panel combine to make this an excellent value. It's only 1080p and at 24" (91.79 PPI)--this absolutely maximum size I'd be willing to go at this resolution sitting at a reasonable distance away. I like that Acer has included Gamma settings and Black Level settings in the menu. Some other manufacturers omit this and it's always nice to have more options. The IPS panel gives this monitor superior color reproduction and viewing angles compared to TN panels, the latter of which are typically the most common type of panel found in cheaper gaming monitors. This appears to be changing, however, as IPS becomes cheaper and more widely available. Refresh rate of 165 Hz is good. Above 144 Hz and you hit pretty large amounts of diminishing returns--60 Hz to 144 is a huge leap in smoothness, 144 Hz to 240... not so much. Tad bit better. 144 to 165, I can't really tell, but at this price, why not? Couple of issues: On my unit, the power cable does not fit securely into the power connector on the back of the panel. I have to really jam it in there, to the point where it feels like I may break something internally, in order for it to make a good enough connection to turn on. Hopefully not normal for this model. Super Sharpening seems to keep turning itself back on for some reason whenever the monitor is disconnected/reconnected. The fact that this monitor is not marketed as G Sync Compatible (and is just "FreeSync Premium") means that it hasn't been verified with NVidia to work 100% correctly in this mode---most likely, Acer decided to save the money on this model that it would have taken to get it certified by NVidia and passed the savings on to the buyer. Haven't really tested it out to see how well it works, but on panels that have poor compatibility you may get display flickering when using G Sync or VRR may not work at all.

This monitor is great for ps5, the 144 hz really help enhance the console’s experience. The built in speakers are decent and makes it so you don't have to wear a headset all the time while using a monitor.

This monitor is great. This is better than the others that were offered at the same price where this has AMD FreeSync Prenium, HDR, and up to 165 Hz refresh rate via the DisplayPort. To be honest, the HDR isn't good, so I kept it disable for my use with SDR content and gaming. The colors on this are pretty good after I calibrate it via rtings specifications and it does the job at displaying all the colors accurately. This comes within the box a HDMI cable and a DisplayPort cable which are excellent for my setup. Overall, you need a good deal on a gaming monitor, go with this. Acer monitors tend to be good long term and the oldest monitor that I own is still going strong to this day since 2013 brand new.

I needed a monitor for a new PC I built and the ACER had a good price and 165 HZ refresh rate.

It does the job. Works well for basic gaming. The round base made it hard to fit on my small desk but other than that, it worked well for my needs.

Fantastic display purchases specifically for gaming on Xbox series x. Prior to this had used standard 1080 monitor, difference is enormous. Completely transformed my gaming experience. Primarily play FPS or Bethesda titles for reference.

Amazing display for the price. I bought it when it was on sale for a bit over $140 and the quality was very good. Only problem I would be able to think of would be the speakers which were a bit quiet but for monitor speakers its not bad.

Good bang for your buck. I needed a monitor to using for gaming under $150 since I smashed my $300 monitor and didn’t wanna replace it right now as I’m currently saving up to replace my graphics card. It’s definitely worse than old monitor but beyond noticing initially I haven’t actually noticed much since. Sure it’s not HD graphics but in my actual time playing I haven’t really missed it that much. Graphics still look great and overall happy. Unless you have unlimited money to throw at your build this pc will do just fine for most gamers and will do amazing for anyone not use to higher end monitors. It hooked into my mount easily and took a minute to set up. Might end up buying a second one and going for a three monitor set up because I’m so happy with it so far.

Good quality. 165hz looks so smooth. Haven't had a single problem yet. The only problem (well it's just me being picky) is that the ports on the back (display, hdmi, etc.) are pointed up so it kind of makes it hard to plug them in. Otherwise good deal.

I put this up to my samsung gaming monitor and my 4k tv and the colors pop just like those. Very vibrant and the 165hz is great also. Sound isn't bad seeing as most famous ng monitors don't have speakers. Best in my opinion price and performance.
