Great laptop but some issues with delivery.

The first time it was dead on arrival. Which is reasonable with shipping. I decided to return it in person to get it at my local best buy which they said they had but didn't. I ordered it online again. I have to press the power button around 4 times before the laptop boots up. I thought I would have 30 days for return but unfortunately I didn't.

Don’t waste your money

It is an absolute piece of junk. The charging port is nothing but issues. You’d have better graphics gaming on a brick.

Do Not Purchase

I worked with Best Buy to secure a replacement. That replacement was also dead on arrival. Overall, a poor product and an abysmal reflection on Acer's quality control.

Won’t Power Up

Very disappointed because of the money spent only to have used it for 5 months of moderate use. Avoid even with a warranty!

Excellent multipurpose laptop

While comparing prices of laptops with an 11th gen i7 processor and good graphics cards, this gaming laptop came out on top. It not only performs excellent in the above, using Windows 11, Kali Linux, and Debian, but it also runs newer games like Mortal Online at max graphics settings. It's only drawback is the unremarkable battery life (not awful, but not great either). However, this only is an issue playing games because of the power draw on the CPU and graphics card. As far as daily use is concerned, the battery life is fine.

Worth Every Penny for an AMAZING Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Acer Nitro 5 with i7 1800H w/ GeForce RTX 3500Ti, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD and Windows 11. From the time I press the "Power On" button, it is less than 20 seconds until I am on line, Firefox open, and fully running. Just AMAZING speed. My previous computer was quite old. 4gb ram and an Athelon A6 processor. This Nitro 5 is so amazing in terms of download speed, data transfer, and workability with MANY active items all running simultaneously. Just transferring files from the old computer took over 35 minutes to move a file set to a high speed thumb drive. When I placed the drive into the Nitro, it took 2 minutes to bring them on board! A gigantic program I use almost daily took roughly 8 minutes to fully load and begin work on the previous computer. This one loads and opens, ready to work in about 2 seconds! This is not an exaggeration! Literally this massive program opens and is ready to work in 2 seconds. The NO GLARE screen is wonderful. It's full HD but not 4k, but in a 15.6" screen, I don't believe anyone who says they can tell the difference. It looks as sharp and clear as my 4k 65" television. The light up keyboard is a really nice feature. I appreciate the special "N" key near the keypad that opens the Nitrosense app any time to adjust performance based on current need. The only things I wish were different would be a bigger hard drive and longer battery life. The battery lasts just barely over an hour. At least 1TB would be nice, but in this price range, this is a very VERY well equipped and powerful, fast laptop. Another 1TB SSD can be added for about $100 if it ever becomes needed.

My second Acer Nitro 5

Unfurtunelly I was not able to get the $200 savings deal, but I picked the $100,00. Great upgrade !! i7 core and 3050 ti graphics, great backlights!! My wife picked up in less than 24 hours. A great option for Autocad, SolidWorks, SketchUp...

Great price and quality

I use it for studying, coding and gaming, and its nice. For example, I can play RDR2 with maximum quality and 60 fps. The battery don't lasts very long time (2 hrs max), but it has a charging option to use the computer plugged in and prolong its useful life. I really recommend it.

The spefications are good but since i ordered one laptop and did not work i ordered another and another and it still did not even open , i can say that this is the worst laptop i have seen my whole life .
