Customers are pleased with the Nitro 5's performance, graphics capabilities, and price, frequently citing its ability to run games smoothly and its good value for the money. However, some users experienced issues with battery life, keyboard backlight functionality, and occasional fan noise. While many found the build quality to be satisfactory and appreciated the upgradability options, concerns regarding heat generation were also noted.

This is my first gaming pc and I had this for a little over 2 years and it's been everything I needed in a laptop. I upgraded to 32 GB of ram and it's been very solid. Probably will upgrade to a desktop gaming pc as I want higher fps in more modern games but for a first time gaming pc it's been amazing!

This is my second computer this month. I returned the first one on the 5th day. It was very, very loud, touchy, had a black screen on the third day and stripes on the 4th day. This computer is quiet, fast, and so far working like a dream. I wish it was 1TB of memory, but I won't complain. It was $500 cheaper than the one I sent back. I love the number keypad and the backlights. I am not so fond of Windows 11, but I'll get used to it. The computer I'm replacing was a Toshiba Qosmio 17.3 in. It was 12 years old and ran Windows 7. It still runs despite the battery being dead, but it was very slow. I was very disappointed in the first replacement, but this computer is a dream and a bargain. I am so glad I bought it.

Has performed very well on some premier titles with demanding graphics. You must keep it plugged in at all times since the battery life is so bad and the laptop won’t run games very well without it being plugged in.

Had this laptop for two weeks now and thus far am really impressed. Got it for $999 and at that price, with an 11th gen i7 processor, 3050ti graphics card, 512 gb SSD, and 16gb of RAM, this is a great value.
Been using it for music production and gaming. Ableton Live runs very quick and smooth and am getting very good fps performance in newer games (Halo Infinite, Control, Forza 5), though you may have to settle for medium to low settings, but to me it still looks great. Really enjoying this laptop!

It’s a good laptop for casual gaming. The laptop can somewhat handle games like Fortnite or Arma 3. The fan is very loud on the laptop.

Purchased this laptop for my son for Christmas. I teach at a university and pushed the specs out to my students in the Computer Science department and no one could talk me out of spending the extra money for this computer. It is, by far, the best bang for your buck. My son has put it through its paces. Although the fan is bit loud, it is playing 2021 games with an amazing smoothness and zero lag. This is a laptop with legs. It’s great the way it is and capable of the upgrades needed for the future. We are very happy with our purchase!

This laptop is a great gaming laptop. I've had this laptop for almost 2 year now and it still runs as good as new. The display with 144Hz offers a smooth and visually vibrant gameplay. The only problem I had with this product is that its on Windows 11 as it has a lot of issues but it didn't hinder me all that much. It also has a short battery life, but that didn't matter to me as my laptop is always charging. The Acer Nitro 5 offers a well-rounded gaming laptop with powerful performance, excellent display, and audio quality.

Best computer I've ever owned. I didnt realize how awful my previous gaming computer was until I got this. I've been able to have multiple AAA games and hundreds of indie games all installed at the same time with no compromised performance on stock components.

So far it's an amazing computer and especially if you are an Architecture student! it works wonders. Able to work multiple programs at once. The only down side there is, just the sound quality. Overall what makes up for it is the smooth graphics it performs and the high speed it runs on.

Love this computer! It’s fast and quiet. 2 things I dislike: the backlit red keys turn off after a few seconds of non use making it difficult when typing in darkened setting. The battery doesn’t last very long. Other than that so far it’s been wonderful. I use this computer mainly for live streaming and video editing and it’s perfect for my needs.

Really enjoyrd the laptop...the battery sucks but its a gaming laptop so it makes sense. I was able to play apex, gta V and other pc games. The easy access upgradable underneath the laptop is very convenient. Very nive starting gaming system.the plug was slightly annoying but everything else was fine. Please the graphics were great!

Excellent gaming laptop, I can run COD, DBD, Overwatch 2 and many other heavy graphics games with ease along side my game streaming platforms. Only complaint is that it doesn't have a ton of space I ended up geting an exteranal hard drive and that has solved my storage issue.

My son is absolutely thrilled with this gaming laptop! He is extremely pleased with how many games it can store, how incredibly fast it runs, the unbelievable graphics, and there is absolutely no glitching with any games he has installed. I took a look at it in action and it's definitely worth the money.

This is a budget laptop, and a pretty good one at that, only complaint I could say is windows 11 which I’m not fond of other then that it’s a gaming beast. Like any other laptop it needs to be plugged in most of the time while gaming but that’s the only flaw I could think of!

I wanted to get back into PC gaming and not get raked over the coals. With all the crypto miners buying all the GPUs, I decided to buy prebuilt. It then dawned on me that i was going to have to spend a ton between mice, keyboard, and monitor, so i went down the laptop route.
I was so impressed with this rig. Fast, great display, and most important of all, the fan is super quiet. Only gripe is I accidentally hit the touchpad all the time, but that is more operator error. I was running a GTX 780 for years and this RTX3050 feels light years ahead.
Battery life is meh, but honestly, who the hell is going to run it on max settings and expect good battery life. Also the 512gb SSD is very small, but they offer an HDD upgrade kit. Thumb drives have gotten pretty craze storage and size wise, so keep that in mind.

For the price it’s a great gaming laptop for mid tier games. The CPU is powerful and the GPU is good enough for most high end games. The finish collects finger prints a lot and the screen is small. The great thing about this laptop is that you can upgrade the storage and RAM easily.

Bought this for my wife. we paid 1100 dollars for it. A week later it was on sale for 900 dollars. Best Buy honored the price and returned my 200 dollars. Now, I consider this an incredible deal. super fast. its great for average gamers, and excellent for productivity.

This gaming laptop far exceeded my expectations. It runs amazingly and has a high FPS on bigger games like Horizon Zero Dawn. It doesn't stay charged for long when not plugged in but mine is always plugged in so I do not have an issue with it.
