Amazing gaming laptop not only does my husband use it but my son also does digital media projects on it. With the upgrades they added it’s even better.

Great laptop well worth the money!

I have had this laptop for about 2 months now, and I love it. I bought it because I love to play the SIMS 4 and it runs it VERY well. I love how fast the laptop starts up (literally seconds) and how fast the game loads. I do not have a lot of games on here, so I don't know for sure how it does with that. The Nitro Sense cooling system is amazing. However when playing a game you still need to prop it up on something. Otherwise it WILL overheat. The only draw backs I have are the keyboard is difficult. Sometimes it feels you have to really tap the keyboard hard or you miss keys. The color of the monitor is dull, but with some adjustments it does get better. I had to google and fix that. I have seen some negative reviews regarding the laptop monitor shutting down out of nowhere. This DID happen to me but I realized it was the magnet in the bracelet I was wearing was triggering the laptop to think I had shut it and putting it into sleep mode. Google and Reddit helped me figure out that problem and feel less stupid. Overall this laptop is great, and well worth the money. If the website says it is sold out, go to your local Best Buy and ask them if it is possible to order it and have it shipped.

I just picked this bad boy up today and I have to say I’m very impressed. Between the amd and the gtx 1650 the laptop is extremely fast. No problems with the charger like some other people. Just make sure the cord is actually in the port. You should hear it click in. Played league of legends, counter strike, and Maplestory so far and all have played really well. Definitely a good buy for the money. Only reason I gave it 4 stars was because windows was a little wonky during setup but I think that’s more of a software issue than hardware.

    The laptop Review

This product is very well designed. It has a black base and top screen. It also has some nice red designs. It includes a red light up keyboard. It is about 15 inches long. My experience with this product has been amazing. I have made a few great memories with this laptop. I have had a wonderful gaming experience. I have watched movies on it too. Overall my gaming experience was spotty at times but mostly good. Sadly with a laptop you can't upgrade its parts. The year I've had it has been great! It was a great product to start with. Over the past year it's performance has decreased a little bit. It started out amazing but I feel like over time it has decreased in value. It hasn't had the best performance but that's because I use it a lot. I thought this product would have lasted me a little more than a year but it hasn't stayed good. Overall this product is amazing. I have to say that it's not the best but for the price it is quite the deal. You get a decently great gaming experience for a low price. I would recommend this product to any new gamers. It's not super cost effective and get's you ready for the future.

Love this laptop! I needed something for school that would also run my games until I can build a PC, and this was perfect! It runs fast, graphics are great, and I haven't had any issues with overheating. The only downsides are that it's a bit bulky for my liking, and the battery dies faster than I'd like.

Run games great and the keyboard is very smooth. Perfect size for me. If you are debating weather to get it or not get it for sure. No problems yet and I think it is a good price for it.

The best gaming laptop for beginners in the "PC world." Eve with the lowestspecs it ran Rainbow Six Seige on the Best settings at a consistant 80 FPS. You can also use other programs such as Discord or Twitch WHILE gaming. The display is incredible. The one things I woul say is that it is a bit heavy if youre laying in bed using it. Other then that, the best laptop on the market for this price. Also a great look with the badass black and red theme and the thin sides. Very powerful machine. Would 100% recomend for anyone.

I think it's a good laptop because it has good specs and I got it on Christmas for 620$! For me it has the best specs for its price packing a gtx 1650 and a ryzen AMD 4000 series 5. It is 15.6 inch screen with good speakers and the keyboard is only red. One tip is to tun up and down the sound you press fn and up key for louder sound and down key + fn to turn down the sound. It has 256gb and 8 gigs of ram also has 60 refresh rate and 1080p screen, also comes with a camera and mic at the top of the screen.

Great gaming laptop for the money would buy again. Decent specs will be upgrading RAM and SSD to a larger drive. Will run Microsoft Flight Simulator with no upgrades to RAM. Biggest negative is that the screen has a low refresh rate so even if you are able to get a higher than 60 fps the screen will not go faster than that. But they had to cut corners somewhere so its acceptable, specially when there is an HDMI output so can just get a better screen if wanted that bad.

So I have been building gaming desktops since computers were a thing. This is the first gaming laptop I have ever purchased. I got this one from BB (the ryzen 5 1650 w/8 gb and 256gb nvme) because of the price and reviews. I got 10% off as a birthday gift from BB as well. I am not disappointed. Not underpowered at all. Of course I put 8gb more memory for 26GB dual channel. I put a 1tb 2.5" ssd as well. This thing, in my unexperienced opinion smokes. The games run smooth. My eyes are old enough, I guess I don't see the deficiency in the display. Looks awesome to me. I would recommend.

I suggest adding the additional ram (installation so easy a monkey could do it). I have had a nitro for several years with no issues. I have yet to defrag or compress and there is no delay what so ever. I play WoW, use ToS, and chrome at the same time. I highly recommend this computer to gamers and those looking for a quick computer with longevity.

It does what I want it to. I bought it for writing and the occasional game. What I am not a big fan of is the battery life. "Battery Life 9 hours" is what the specs say but in actuality, it is a 4 hour battery life. Would I recommend it, sure would.

    Didn't Even Last a Year!

I bought this last year during the summer before I started the fall semester of my sophomore year of college. I loved it and it worked great until it broke recently during the start of the fall semester of my junior year. Apparently, the hard drive is fried. Not sure if it got too hot or what since all I did was complete school work, write stories, and play video games on it. That's $800 dollars wasted and for what? Will never buy another Acer again. I don't recommend this product since, as a gaming laptop, it pretty much can't handle playing games for a super long time. Wish it lasted longer...it really was a good computer.

    constant whirring fan sound.

I would first like to say I really like this machine. This is my second Acer after being forced to finally retire my Acer Aspire 5750. The first week the laptop ran like a dream, but over the last few weeks the right-side fan (from what I can tell) has been getting more and more noisy. It has now just developed a low constant whirring sound, with the fan turning on (when laptop isn't even warm), churning and wooing, suddenly turning off, then doing it all over again. It doesn't just happen when gaming, it is even doing it now as I am typing up this review with just the browser open. For just a 2 month laptop, I am really concerned how bad it will get in another few more months. Unfortunately I do plan on returning it if I can.
