Strong fast comp can handle all my online game!!!@@

The laptop is good for gaming and work. The keyboard light functions helps when traveling in a car or on a plane. Work is convenient with multiple monitors when doing research or spreadsheets. Document comparison on two screens is very nice and convenient. The big screen allows a better viewing environment.

I bought this for my 14 year old son. He does a lot of gaming but I didn’t want to pay the expensive cost of a desktop gaming computer. I was a bit worried about how this keyboard would hold up. It has been great so far. Very durable. My son loves it and it is a perfect gaming laptop for a decent price.

I had some minor annoyances with this which Acer said I should refresh install to correct. Eventually I had to do a clean install of get beyond the problems. But other than that it works fine.

I needed a entry level gaming computer for the family. We are not hard core gamers but we needed something that was better than a standard laptop. It is a great value. It is robust. My friends who game said it is a great value as well.

I needed to buy a new computer to run my Oculus Rift system that a friend gave me. I basically purchased the cheapest one I could find at Best Buy after checking a few other places that didn't have a gaming laptop that had the specs. This one works but for $800, I would have thought it would have been loaded with more useful software instead of just trial versions. I may be out of the loop since it's been around 10 years since I last bought a PC but it seemed like a bit overpriced for the cheapest one that would work. I would recommend it but not enthusiastically.

I wanted a Laptop that could handle the most demanding requirements of the finest of MOBAs: Dota 2, and this laptop has not yet let me down. Had it for almost a month and so far so good. The ”Nitrosense” feature allows you to monitor and tinker with the cooling of the GPU and CPU. I like it so far.

Speakers didn't work and computer was slow from the start ended up taking it back to best buy had geek squad look at it and they confirmed it was a dud and when they went to return it. It got quarantined which means people had returned it before and it never got lowered as an open box or taken off selves I went ahead and bought had then take what was the price and transfer it over to the upgraded one with the SSD and 1050 TI.

I got this for my son who's going off to college. First of all I'm hoping that it's main use will be to write papers and take notes in class but we all know that won't happen. I also got this Acer - Nitro 5 15.6" Laptop so he could play his video games and not have to take our big bulky desktop into his small dorm room. After his first few hour stint of playing games on it he said the graphics were very impressive and the speed even more so. He played several games that may lag at times on our desktop but not with this laptop. Also he said he never felt heat coming off this Acer laptop as the coolboost feature keeps the system from heating up. The appearance of the laptop is very good looking. The red back lit keyboard looks very cool but not to over the top or flashy to be used professionally too. The weight may be a little cumbersome to carry around all day in a backpack but hopefully he will get used to it or maybe just buy a little Chromebook for carrying to class, we will have to see. Overall he is very happy with it and excited to start college.

Purchased this laptop for my son to play games on. His previous laptop was a Lenovo, which had too much lag. after a year of complaining to me I finally decided to make the change for him. My son is extremely happy with this laptop thus far and I am happy with the price I paid.

Has good power and memory, quick, love keyboard lighting color, works well with games, good processing speed, my 11 yr old says I should use it also for on-line games as well.

Good features, but the hard drive is too bad, my laptop is much faster! My recommendation is to sell it with an SSD and it would be a good deal

It's a start off for a laptop like this especially if you're planning to do any of gaming & video editing. You need to do upgrades on this computer

it is a nice laptop, it runs right. I have not had big issues with it, The only one is that sometimes flash does not work properly on videos at the beginning but the is corrected.

Runs games well and screen is visible from multiple angles much better than my dell laptop screen. A little slow start up at time considering getting ssd drive

I have only had the chance to open the computer and get it up and running. This is a xmas present so i will need to come back and revise this review at a later date.

Its okay. You probably wanna get another RAM stick and an SSD though.

I have given my kids this gaming laptop for Christmas and I must tell you that they are over in love with this laptop. It was easy set up, no problem so far .

My grandson was thrill beyond words! Couldn't believe his Grandmother had any idea this would be something he wanted. He hasn't stopped saying I love you since Christmas. Not that he didn't prior to Christmas, however the glow on his face is sweet.
