Great laptop, easy to use good graphics for gaming

was looking all over for desktops and other laptops for gaming and decided to bite the bullet and purchase this one! I'm very happy with my purchase to say the least! have been playing lots of Call of Duty Warzone with my friends cross platform! . and the Halo Master Chief Collection!! only downside to this laptop is storage space but that's easily fixed!!

I purchased this laptop as an upgrade from a laptop with a 13.3" screen. I do a lot of technical writing, and the small screen was starting to get cumbersome. The Acer Nitro with a 15.6" screen was a nice treat... those two extra inches make a big difference. The screen clarity is excellent... text and images are crisp. I also like to play a few games, including World of Warcraft. For a low cost gaming laptop, it does a great job with gaming. It does heat up a bit when playing a game, as expected, but Acer includes an app that allows you to enable a Boost mode, increasing the fan speed a bit to help keep the laptop cooled down. It works quite well and is still decently quiet... yes, you can hear the fans, but they are not overwhelming or distracting. I have noticed that, to use the Boost mode, I do need to plug in the AC adapter and not run off battery. I'm guessing that is intentional, as to not drain the battery when using Boost mode. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the laptop and couldn't be happier. The boot up time is quick, thanks to the solid state drive. It responds very well to everything I've thrown at it thus far. If you are looking for a low cost, casual gaming and everyday use laptop, this is an excellent choice.

I’ve had this gaming laptop for a little over a week. During quarantine, I’ve been on this all day long. I’ve used it for gaming but also to reply to emails and work from home. I love how fast it is. When playing certain games, the laptop will get hot and the fan will come on rather quickly. I use a laptop cooling pad with it so that’s the only reason I give it 4/5 stars.

Very satisfied. Works well acer's gaming line is built well, its not the same laptop as the standard consumer line - no tape =) (used to rip 1000's of laptops apart for 3 years). Scored 50 percentile on passmark without nitro setting. Cant beat the speed for price. 2-3 seconds from close lid to sign in. 6-8 on hard boot.

I bought this for my son. We wanted something he could use for school, but also would be a great gaming computer. He loves it. Great screen resolution. Amazing frame rate, perfect beginner gaming laptop.

Great quality for the money graphics and speed good

Perfect laptop for my son to do his gaming videos for YouTube! No lagging and great graphics. The camera is awesome. I'm very satisfied with this laptop overall. His dad paid over $1500 for his gaming laptop and this one is just as good and even better in some areas, like the camera. Great bargain!

Not the best spec wise, but for the money the performance is phenomenal! It runs all my games spectacularly at about 100 frames per second on the highest settings, my previously custom built desktop only got 60 frames per second. I would highly recommend this for someone not wanting to go broke on a gaming laptop.

Good quality built laptop. Design brings out a gamer mindset. Nicely lit keypad with red color makes it nicer. The system works great and flawless. This would be great for a gamer who is just starting out. Good for homework and school projects too. Could be a little cheaper.

I purchased this computer as a replacement to my previous one that was getting progressively slower and was not allowing games to run at an effective frame rate. This computer though is leaps and bounds better than my last one and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an upgrade.
