Great...at first

Played everything I wanted it to with no hiccups. But recently, 9/10 when i boot it up, I get to the desktop screen and the screen flickers black and back to the desktop every few seconds. Makes the computer completely unusable. Hate to give it one star but since this started happening I can't use it. I just have to hope it doesn't do it on start up otherwise I'm screwed for the day.
