The computer is great for gaming but the more you use it he more you need to charge it or keep it plugged in which isn’t great. The battery should last longer as a gaming computer.

Crazy powerful for its size, the screen looks great and it can run a lot without stuttering. My only (and big) issue (besides the fact that it has Windows 11, but what can you do), is that the battery life is TERRIBLE. Even running nothing but a browser on wifi, no video or music, and with all my settings adjusted to consume as little power as possible, I don’t even get 2 hours out of a charge. Playing a game gets me less than an hour. I know gaming laptops aren’t known for great battery lives, but I would have preferred something that I could sit down with and not require the charge cord at hand at all times. Luckily I don’t plan to travel with it, but if you’re looking for a laptop that doesn’t need an outlet nearby, this isn’t it.

I purchased this laptop last month because I needed a good gaming laptop to play Sims 4 and so far so good! This laptop runs the game so smoothly with all the expansion packs that I have with the game! Also the size of the screen is a plus!! Would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone especially those who play the Sims!

Very satisfied with this. Its clean running and powerful enough for my purposes. The fan is a little loud but nothing bad at all or unexpected to keep a real GPU cool. I did find I had to do some setting modifications in Windows to make sure the real GPU was used by default, but that isn't specific to this model.
Overall, I can't argue with the value. Battery is good, screen is good, power is good.

Great gaming laptop for a good price, I got it at $750 when it was on sale. It's fast, reliable, and has multiple ram slots that I was able to work with. I replaced my 8GB sticks with 16GB. I'd recommend for anyone wanting to upgrade, beginner or pro.

Had it for about 1 year now. It's held up well - we mostly use it for watching videos or playing games.
It has good brightness, fun light-up colors, crisp images, and nice keys for typing. Games run quick and with little lag. We mostly play small to medium games, such as small indie games or minecraft.
The volume is pretty low compared to other laptops I've had or seen, such as Lenovo Yoga's and ASUS laptops. We have a Bluetooth Speaker that we use whenever we want to watch a Youtube video/etc together, because the volume doesn't get loud enough for us. Headphone volume is good - it's just the volume when not using headphones is bad.

This laptop works fine for me. I've played a couple games that recommend 16GB of RAM, and even though the base is only 8GB, the game plays well. The keyboard has a wonderful feel to it, and the screen size is perfect

When I purchased this laptop i didnt realize quite how large it would be. But for its lack of portability, it does have quite some power for its pricepoint. The display is much better than anticipated and all things load in good time.
The two weakest points for this laptop are its battery life and sound. This is a loud machine once it gets going. You know when something takes a lot of processing. It will tell you. While doing a system update I was worried of it achieving liftoff. The other weak point is battery life. Its battery lasts long enough to move it from one plug in point to another. This may be due to using more demanding applications, but regardless, battery life definitely seems to be lacking.
Overall this is a powerful machine good for those who are prioritizing processing power and graphics over portability and battery life.

After 3 laptops from one of the most popular manufacturers, I finally have a solid high-performance machine. This laptop is well built with key internal components that will serve me well for quite some time. Ample storage space and speed are its key points. One improvement I would have liked to see is the Harmon Kardon speakers. Additionally, they should have been placed at the top, in front of the screen, rather than under the front corners, where they are cushioned if you have the computer resting on your lap. Other than that, I'm very happy with Acer.

Finally bought a new laptop after rocking my Macbook Air for nearly ten years...and I couldn't be more pleased. I purchased this specifically to run Sims 3 (incredibly outdated software and difficult to get running on modern computers), and it has truly delivered. This is a great gaming laptop but also sleek and light enough to use for school. Sturdy, well made, moderately priced. I cannot recommend this enough.

Good mid level gaming computer. Best I've had, and it plays all the games from Steam, Xbox...etc. Stays cool with quad fans and has cool keyboard light schemes.

The Acer Nitro gaming notebook is fantastic! It's perfect for both my 10-year-old daughter's gaming and my coding and film work. It's powerful, sleek, and has a high-resolution display. The keyboard is comfortable, and it's durable enough for an active child. It's versatile, allowing us to switch effortlessly between gaming and coding modes. The battery life is great, and it has excellent connectivity options. Overall, it's a reliable and adaptable companion for entertainment and productivity. Highly recommended!
