Nice 17 inch screen, first gaming laptop so cant make a comparison. Playing The Witcher 3, Skyrim, and WOW. They all look great and smooth...love it.

screen size and image quality are great for those who edit videos and photos. Performance is fast and doesn't crash. Just missing a card reader.

Excellent beginners gaming laptop. the laptop runs smooth and has a fast boot-up. I use it mostly for work and it performs wonderfully.

This is a good entry level gaming laptop and it's easy to upgrade the Ram and drives. I went all SSD but you could put a spinning drive if you wished for storage.

I’ve had my laptop a few weeks and I love it. Especially for the price. I immediately upped the ram to 32gigs and added an additional 1tb storage drive. How many laptops can you do that to these days?

We bought this laptop for my college freshman to take to school. The screen is very nice sized. It has plenty of power to handle the school work and his gaming. It was a good choice for a decent price.

I purchased this laptop in July. So far it has performed very well and I am very pleased with the Nitro 5. I have only run into a few hiccups with the laptop. Most notably, the CPU runs hot when playing certain titles, BF5, Assassin’s Creed, and Anthem. The CPU with these games will run consistently between 85c to 93c. If you want a very in depth review for this laptop I suggest checking out ‘Meanpooh’s channel on YouTube. He does an excellent job covering the in and outs of the laptop. Overall I am very pleased with the build and performance. I would recommend.

So far so great! This laptop is fast! The screen is really big compared to my old one. The specs are great for what i need and the stylish corners make it look like a custom laptop.

I was interested in a budget friendly laptop that could be decent for gaming. I wasn't disappointed with this, it runs everything i use at high settings. Its a great value at this price point.

This laptop is very fast, works well and there has been no problems. Suites our need for a perfect tool used along with everything else needed for remote learning this year for 2 kids.

Great for gaming, not the best in graphics but it does the job well and can surprisingly handle some top games but i don’t recommend that, great audio speakers, they are interesting .

I've had this laptop for about 7 months and I really like it. Haven't had the chance to play games on it but I have been using it everyday for school and it's working great. The only thing I absolutely hate about it, is that sometimes I can't get it to charge! Which is so dang frustrating when I have to be logged in for my nursing school on Google meet and my laptop is about to die! When I first got the laptop and I would plug it in to charge it wouldn't! I had to struggle by trying different methods to get it to charge like plugging it on and off several times or restarting it and trying to plug it in again. After a few minutes I'll be able to get it to charge. This happened the first few months. Then for several months I had no issues with charging it, it would charge as soon as I plug it in. BUT just recently it started not charging again which is frustrating! I had struggled for 1 hour to get it to charge trying trick i found on YouTube and nothing works! I need my laptop for school at the moment and that's one of the reasons I bought this one but its not even good for that. So just beware. Its a great laptop but it has some hiccups to it.

When you have only had a computer for one month, it is difficult to really evaluate it. It is much faster than my Surface that had the same chip (older generation) and the screen resolution is great. On the negative side, it is very heavy! Also, after I set up the computer, it had two people with my same last name that I did not know registered as users! I ordered it from Best Buy.com so they knew my last name; did they put these people in or was it Microsoft as I was setting up the computer? Either way it is scary to think when you get a new computer that someone is already planning to watch everything you do!

Bought this to replace a desktop PC. Works great. Easy to set up. I upgraded the RAM but that’s was simple too. Fast and simple to use. Meets my needs at a reasonable price.

Fast and reliable computer for a non ver expensive computer. Sometimes it gets hot when playing for more than 3 hours but it is still very good at performance ratings.

Very good laptop. Excellent speed and versatility. Not to sound like a commercial for Best Buy but we purchased a different laptop via Amazon and it broke (failed to operate) after a short time. Was under warranty but we had to ship it back to the vendor and they made us purchase a special shipping box to do it. Big hassle, loss of time shipping to unknown source, etc. Much more pleased with purchasing via Best Buy, knowing we can simply get it back to the store if there's an issue.

I picked up (2) of these laptops. One for each of my girls for the start of the school. I also wanted them to be able to play games with their friends and family with all the Covid social distancing. We have been spending most of the time playing Minecraft and fortnite. This computer has no issues with either game running at 60 FPS. I haven’t tried anything more because these games really doesn’t need anything more. The fan can be a little on the loud side but we play with headphones so we really don’t notice. I think this is a great entry level gaming laptop and I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

For the longest time, we were just using cheap laptops for regular use and miraculously, somehow minecraft worked. Like crap but it worked if you had the patience. I bought 2 of these laptops for myself and my kid to play Minecraft and do school work on and the speed is amazing! Everything is almost instant! It's sleek and good looking too! I'd comment about the specs and all that jazz but I wouldn't know what I was saying. It's a good laptop 100%, that much i know :)

Very happy with my new acer. Performs very well. Love the back lit keys. Very fast. Love the geek squad service getting data transferred from old to new laptop

and easily upgradeable. I added two additional drives and upgraded the RAM to 16GB. You shouldn't need more, even with heavy gaming. There's a lot here for the price.
