I did extensive research, checked it out in-store, and initially thought it was trash because the demo didn’t showcase its actual quality. I already have the Samsung Odyssey G8 but was looking for a second monitor without paying the $800+ price tag, and this seemed like a solid option—180Hz, high resolution, and decent ports. What could go wrong? Unfortunately, this monitor fell short. On day one, there were visible issues with the display, which I believe should never happen with any new electronic. The color accuracy is poor, especially from different angles, making it unusable for graphic design work. Gaming performance was okay, but even with the higher refresh rate, it didn’t match the clarity and vibrancy of an OLED with a lower refresh rate. After a long 12-hour session, I realized the aspect ratio and overall quality just didn’t work for me. If you’re on a budget and don’t need precise color grading for tasks like Photoshop or Illustrator, it just doesnt work at least not for my projects. But for anything requiring accuracy, an OLED monitor is a better choice. This one’s going back—maybe I got a bad unit, but the poor quality speaks for itself, even during startup.
