I've been using it for like almost 5 hours and been noticing that the screen flickers once in a while and other times, streaks come across the screen. I switched the display cable but made no differences.
I will return this monitor to BB tomorrow.

short and simple. went in store as there was 1 left. came home and found a dead pixel. some people say acer is bad for this kinda thing letting them slip through QA but its a drag.. i missed the price reduction by 2 days. from 279 to 330. pay full price and got something i have to take back.

I strongly believe this is the best monitor you can buy for under 800 dollars even though it is way below that price. Incredible specs and very easy to assemble.

I picked up this Acer Nitro 34-inch curved monitor mainly for gaming, and it’s been awesome so far. The screen is super wide, and the curve really makes games feel more immersive, especially racing and FPS games. It just pulls you in.
The picture is super sharp with the QHD resolution, and colors look great right out of the box. I didn’t even have to mess with the settings much. The 180Hz refresh rate makes everything feel really smooth, especially in fast-paced games like Call of Duty or Apex. I noticed a big difference coming from a 60Hz screen.
There’s no lag or screen tearing thanks to the FreeSync, and I haven’t had any issues with ghosting either. It’s also been great for work and watching videos—the extra screen space is super useful.
Only downside is the built-in speakers aren’t that great, but that’s pretty normal for monitors. I just use my own headset anyway.
Overall, this is a great monitor if you want something that looks good, performs well, and gives you that wide screen experience. Definitely worth it for the price.

This monitor has been amazing in the short time of ownership! The display is awesome! The only thing I am not sure how to get to work is the HDR. When I turn on HDR it is extremely gray after trying to set it up.
Overall awesome monitor outside of getting the HDR setup which I don't really need. It does the 2 k resolution and has a nice 180 hz refresh rate.

Absolutely thrilled with the Acer Nitro 34” Curved QHD Gaming Monitor! From the moment I set it up, I was blown away by the immersive experience. The 34-inch curved screen wraps around perfectly, offering an ultra-wide, panoramic view that truly enhances gaming and productivity. The QHD resolution delivers crisp, vibrant visuals that make every game look stunning, whether it’s fast-paced action or cinematic landscapes.
The 180Hz refresh rate is a game-changer, ensuring buttery-smooth gameplay with zero motion blur, even during the most intense scenes. The 1ms response time guarantees lightning-fast performance, giving me a competitive edge in multiplayer games. The AMD FreeSync technology also eliminates screen tearing, making every frame feel fluid.
The monitor’s design is sleek, with minimal bezels and a modern stand that doesn’t take up too much desk space. I also appreciate the ergonomic adjustments (tilt, height, and swivel), allowing me to find the perfect viewing angle with ease.
Whether you’re gaming, watching movies, or working, this monitor takes it to the next level. It’s an incredible value for the price, delivering premium performance and aesthetics without breaking the bank. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their setup!

I thought it might be hard to adjust to a much wider monitor than I was used to, but it was VERY easy to adjust to. Having multiple inputs to use allows me to use my PC and my Xbox on the same monitor (at different times of course). The picture clarity, refresh rate, and overall quality of this monitor is VERY impressive, and have brought my gaming to a new level. Even the internal speakers of the monitor are VERY audible. I highly recommend it!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Absolutely Blown Away by This Monitor!**
The **Acer Nitro 34" Curved QHD Gaming Monitor** has completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I set it up, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The **3440 x 1440 resolution** offers razor-sharp clarity, and the ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio makes everything from gaming to productivity feel immersive and cinematic.
The **180Hz refresh rate** combined with **1ms response time** and **FreeSync Premium** makes gameplay incredibly smooth and responsive. Whether I'm deep into fast-paced shooters or exploring open-world RPGs, I notice zero lag, screen tearing, or ghosting.
The **curved screen** is a total game-changer—it pulls you right into the action and adds depth that flat screens just can't replicate. The color accuracy and contrast are also excellent right out of the box, and the matte finish helps reduce glare.
Setup was a breeze with both **DisplayPort and HDMI options**, and the build quality is solid and sleek. The monitor looks fantastic on my desk, and the slim bezels add to its modern, high-end appearance.
Overall, this monitor is a beast for gaming and multitasking. If you're looking for a top-tier ultra-wide monitor without breaking the bank, the **Acer Nitro 34"** should be at the top of your list.

Yes, yes, yes! I was shopping for a gaming monitor and ran across this while on sale. I have never had a screen this wide (or curved) and I was worried if I was even going to like it. Well this surpassed my expectations by 100 times. This was a great choice at a good price.

Great value for under $300. The resolution and refresh rate are pretty awesome. So much more screen than 24 or 27 inch, almost too large depending on how you sit. Setup was a bit tricky, but that may just be our desktop. We had to start w HDMI cable, get software updates, then switch to Display Port. Desktop would not boot w DP cable at first.

First off, HDMI connections to the minotor cap out at 100hz, which makes sense, its an HDMI 2.0, but doesn’t specify it in the listing that it caps out at 100hz. The DisplayPort connection (which there is only one) gives the full 180hz. Learned tbis the hard way after buying 3 seperate cables. Other than that, it feels nice and looks great.

The first time buying this monitor, I had a faulty one where the logo didn't show up when powered on. I did return it and trade for another which, happily, wasn't a problem one they tested the faulty monitor and ran into the same issue. Despite this strange mishap, this monitor was absolutely the one that I was looking for. Long screen and a good curve. 180 hz. This was also my first monitor to go 180 hz and I am glad that it was this one. I put a 5 star despite the first time buying this monitor was a faulty one because returning and trading for another was very easy to do. Not only that the employees go as far as to test it on the spot which really made my day/night that they would go this far to test my claim and support any issues that may would have occured.

A little slow to change the inputs. It doesn't like to change them it seems like, I use an HDMI Switch for my work system and NAS so I view them. My computer was using the Displayport so I switched between both and it took about 2-3 seconds to go to that input when I selected it from the menu.
The menu for inputs and everything is on the back right of the display, and IMHO the power button at the bottom was okay, but the others were too confusing to get used to.
Overall, the picture quality is quite nice and it functioned very well as an every day monitor. I'm not a PC gamer so didn't test it with that.
The display unfortunately met it's demise today though when it tipped over and hit a metal flashlight on my desk. (Long story short, I moved it a bit and accidentally lost the balance on it). So, it's now destined for E-Waste.
Would I recommend this? If you keep it on a single input, sure! It's a good monitor and good quality.
