    Terrible Acer customer service

    Had this device for about a week, and it was issue after issue. First, track pad did not work out of the best. Had to connect an external mouse to get through the initial setup of the device. Completed all ofnthe necessary Windows updates and still track not working. Went to Acer's website to check for more driver updates and there I was able to find the trackpad uodate to get it working. Acer terrible quality control. Went into Predator Sense to change the lighting of the keyboard and settings would not save. Contacted Acer for help and there troubleshoot method right off the batvwas to do a Windows factory reset. I asked them is that necessary as this is not a Windows issue and all keyboard driver updates have been completed. Is there another option i can try. They advised to do a bios reset. Again what does the bios have to do with Pulsar not saving my loghting profile. They explained this would resolve. Completed the bios update to no avail. Still the lighting profile did not save but also broke the track pad update. Processed the trackpad update again and did not fix the issue. Proceeded to contact Acer tech support for a 2nd time and now their siggestion was to send it in for repair or do the windows reset. I told them this device will be returned back to Best Buy. In conclusion, Acer tech support is extremely awful and very quick to throw you off the phone. They spent 0 time trying to actually troubleshoot the defective device. I owned an Acer device 8 years ago and now reconfims how terrible and lousy this company is. Buyer be aware and stay away. There are better options.

    Been a predator gaming laptop user and never disappointed me. This new helios is so far best and worth it for the price and specs. Good job!

    Battery is junk and customer support is complete garbage. Only 3 months old as of November 25th (ownership age) and the laptop will not boot under battery. It only boots while plugged in. Customer support is junk. I wish I could give 0 stars. Go with Asus or MSI. Basically go with anyone who stands behind their product.

    Dont buy unless you are deadset on the pc. Bestbuy rep said this is the best pc by far. Definitely not, and during my return i heard another rep trying to convince a customer to buy it with no factual info on why this is a great buy. Hope this helps the unaware customer.

    The machine performs very well. BUT - I returned the original due to having 3 dead pixels. BUT - the surprise! The second one, also has dead pixels. Not sure if it's a bad batch, but I'm going to try to exchange at a different store, and I'm not leaving the store til I check the machine. For the price, dead pixels are unacceptable.

    I was just sitting there browsing the net when all of a sudden the laptop shut off. Now it won’t come back on and there is no charge light indicator when cord is plugged in.

    If I could leave 0 star, I would... Currently writing this review on this piece of trash. Just bought yesterday, downloaded GTA V excited as hell thinking it would be so nice to play on this "high-end" laptop. Bro tell me why this laptop has been more buggy and laggy than my old Ibuypower intel i7 - rtx1080??? Like what??? I tried every single solution, from upgrading it to windows 11 pro, to optimizing every single setting on my computer and in-game to prioritize GTA V to run smoothly. No helps, like nothing helped at all. So frustrated, I downloaded Left4Dead2 and it was even worse. The character did not move at all, could not shoot, could not even steer my mouse. Acer, please do better. How is your Acer Nitro 17 Ryzen 7 7840 - rtx 4060 better than this one? I really don't understand. Stay away folks, get some better.
