Title: Do NOT Buy – Faulty Laptop, Useless Repairs, and Zero Accountability I bought the Acer - Predator Helios Neo 16 (Intel Core i9-14900HX / RTX 4070) from BestBuy, and it has been an absolute nightmare from day one. This thing is a lemon, plain and simple. Within the first week, I started experiencing constant blue screens, random shutdowns, and severe overheating — even when just browsing the web. After some research, I learned this issue is tied to the 14th-gen Intel processors, which have been widely reported to cause system instability, especially in high-performance laptops like this one. Acer and Intel both seem to be brushing this under the rug, but it’s a known problem. I gave BestBuy’s Geek Squad two chances to fix it. The same issues came back within hours of bringing it home. No system should be crashing this frequently out of the box, let alone a $1,700+ “gaming” laptop. Now, I’m past the 60-day return/exchange window, and BestBuy is completely washing their hands of the problem. They’re refusing to replace or refund the laptop, even though they failed to fix it. Instead, they’re hiding behind warranty fine print while I’m stuck with a paperweight. Avoid this product and frankly avoid BestBuy altogether if you expect any level of post-purchase support. Between the defective hardware and the useless repairs, this has been one of the worst buying experiences I’ve ever had.

This laptop, as expected, breezes through workloads without any effort. I dock it and run 3 1440p monitors in a Citrix session for work and an additional monitor with live movie or tv playing. PC never blinks. In Gaming, Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 5 are smooth like butter at 1440p. Battlefield 6 Beta is the same. 1440p Ultra and while i didn't worry about counting FPS, it was smooooooth. THe battery is okay for a gaming laptop and will last for a few hours with normal load, but goes fast in gaming. To be expected thou, with everything in it.

If you're looking for a beast. This is it. (Super important misplaced note: THIS THING SUCKS EGGS ON BATTERY LIFE.) If you're looking for a beast that you can unchain and let loose on your parents ..... well, this isn't that. While this laptop is beyond quick, it unfortunately has 0 overclocking capabilities aside from the 3rd party GPU programs such as MSI Afterburner. The BIOS is completely locked down. If you're looking for Stability, Power, and All-Around Gaming Experience. This is it. If youre looking for Insane Potential, Crazy numbers, Ourageous clocks. Build a desktop. :)

Runs great and was delivered in a timely fashion have not run into any issues with the software or graphics on it. Runs better than a friend’s built computer. Would definitely recommend if anyone is looking for a gaming laptop without spending three thousand for a good one.

EVERYTHING IS GREAT EXCEPT THE BATTERY LIFE ONLY HOLD UP TO 3 to 4 hr with full battery charge 100% fine for me becuase it’s beast latptop with high end processor and the dedicated graphics card .

I needed something close in spec to my PC without taking up lots of space. Black Ops 6, BeamNG.drive, and GTA V look and run excellent on the 240hz display. I don’t mind the battery life because I keep it plugged in most of the time

Im a pretty hardcore gamer and this laptop works amazingly. Only thing i recommend if buying this is upgrade the RAM and internal SSD

This laptop has been great for editing videos. It runs my editing software so smoothly and renders in minutes. Its also decent for gaming. Very happy with this purchase.

Honestly great laptop top for my needs! Runs most modern games at 1440p with no issues. Only thinks is suggest is upgrading ram to 32gb.

Great labtop and for a great price I scooped on a deal. Have had it for a few months now and have nothing but great things to say about it.

It fills my needs and then some. My grandson helped my pick it out and since he graduated with a degree in computer work, he really got me more that I needed, but it does do what I want. I could do without the sound effects when I turn it on.

One of the best gaming laptops in the market right now. The display is crisp and bright, the graphics are great, can run any game at 2k max setting and get 60+fps easily.

excellent laptop only it has short battery time but it is a gaming laptop so that is not a problem
