On paper this Laptop is amazing! Best Buy did an awesome job by listing this product. It was sold out everywhere. I was extremely lucky they had one on display at the best buy near me and so I was able to order one at the store, even though it was sold out. The screen is spectacular. It’s been only a week and the laptop is already shutting down 45 min into my gaming sessions. I purchased the laptop to play video games. I travel for work and on my down time I love to game. I checked the event log on windows and it seems the laptop over throttles and shuts down to prevent damage. I was looking at the cpu temperatures while in game and the temp was fluctuating from 80 to 100 degrees Celsius within seconds. I’m not sure if this is a hardware issue or software malfunction when reading temps. I called acer and they had me update the BIOS but still shut down. I really love this laptop but I think I have no choice but to return it. I hope they can fix the issue.

Best laptop I’ve owned. Definitely recommend getting a cooling pad for it. Oled screen with the 5070ti goes hard

It's a pretty good laptop with a powerful graphic chard with a smoth screen i ever seen

This machine is fantastic for gaming, playing games at full resolution and ultra settings looks amazing on the oled screen: smooth motion, vibrant colors, and great detail. I actually prefer playing games on this to the gaming desktop pc I built even though it is not quite as powerful: and with all the peripherals you need for a gaming experience on desktop, this was actually a fantastic deal at around $1500. That being said: don’t think of it as a laptop, more a portable desktop. Which it excels at. It has poor battery life, and the keyboard gets hot, the bottom very hot. The fan noise is not as bad as some gaming laptops.

Excelent laptop, fast, powerfull and very good screen

I like this laptop a lot, had a bulky 18 inch Alienware and wanted a OLED, happy i made the switch. I like the chassis and screen a lot. CPU and GPU for this price point is almost unheard of. My biggest complaint by far and it could just be me because i don't use headphones are the speakers. They are awful. I mean 2006 office pc awful. They kill the immersion. I will still be keeping because everything else outweighs this one negative but if this is a big deal to you dont buy! They are horrific. One more side note, the laptop is stuck in 240hz and the battery dies very quickly because of that. Im hoping its not the panel and will be fixed with a BIOS update, but we will see.

This laptop is some serious bang for your buck. The screen is amazing, great gpu/cpu combo, pretty slim and lightweight, and good port options. However, the speakers are atrocious and while the fan noise doesn't bother me, they are literally ALWAYS on. Even in quiet mode just surfing the web, the fans are on. You can customize this obviously but if you're running in the standard profiles their on 24/7. But for $1,450, this thing is honestly a beast and I can easily put up with those small cons.

Beautifl and sleek machine, runs great, does tend to get a bit warm during heavy gaming sessions though.

If you need a computer with a good battery go somewhere else. It dies in a couple hours and you can do nothing about it. Otherwise this computer if on sale is a great deal. 5070ti and oled 244hz screen. Fans are fairly average in noise for what I've noticed in gaming laptops but it does get quite hot in the center when working hard so keep an eye on that. Graphics are beautiful and as long as you aren't a top level gamer this is more than powerful enough for your needs. If you are looking for a solid intermediate level gaming laptop at an affordable price this is for you. Not to mention nothing much else needs to be said when the price is $1450. Good luck finding a 5070ti at that price.

This laptop has been well able to run architecture software such as Revit, for example, but is still portable without sacrificing too much screen size and processing power. It accomodates extra screens with the wealth of ports included.

I see a lot of people worrying about benchmarks and trying to choose the best purchase, but I can tell you with confidence this is the best you can buy for the price. Its screen is incredible! I had never had an OLED other than on cell phones, and it’s so amazing that I’m even thinking about getting an OLED monitor as well. As for Best Buy’s service, it was top-notch when I bought it! I totally recommend it.

Specs insane, performance really good but something happen sometimes im trying to fix it but i cant, sometimes the picture frozen and you can hear everything working except for the picture frozen the only way to fix is hold the power and shut off and restart…. I was trying to play world of warcraft just world of warcraft nothing AAA, before this laptop im using zephyros 16” version 2022 I bought from best buy too. Im trying to exchange for another one but the store no have more here only the money back and my store start burning that is really sad. Rainbow arroyo.

Absolutely perfect for my needs. I got it on sale a few weeks prior to Black Friday and it was the best thing I’ve done. I had a Desktop prior I used primarily for gaming. Started traveling for work much more so I got rid of that and went with a laptop. OLED screen is beautiful, surprisingly good FPS with frame gen and DLSS. This laptop is the real deal. I did delete multiple manufacturer bloatware applications and adjusted some power settings to meet my needs on battery or on charge but other than that it’s pretty plug and play. Very happy with my purchase and performance with portability.

I recently purchased this laptop as I needed something under a certain price but with a higher end 50xx series Nvidia for video editing and gaming. I am very happy with my purchase as this Acer Predator is fast to boot up, has a nice RGB keyboard, works well with Adobe and Topaz apps and fits all my gaming needs. I keep it plugged in because it would drain too fast for what I do but I am always near a socket so it isn't an issue for me.

Great laptop! My first ever gaming/work laptop and I couldn’t have asked for a better laptop man and with such a great Black Friday deal, it was easy to make my purchase. Once again though, great working, beautiful laptop, and the predator service is super responsive to my needs. Thanks for helping me out on another Black Friday Best Buy! :D (battery life is low, but that’s how some gaming laptops are and gaming laptops, this one in particular, are supposed to stay on charge especially when gaming. So I will put my review for battery life as a 3 star as I would like for people to review my review and do the necessary research before purchase and help ‘em out)

Amazing gaming machine for such a good price. Got it while it was on sale for $1450. The OLED screen looks so good, plenty of RAM, and very powerful cpu/gpu combo. I was pleasently suprised by how light weight it is and the build quality is actually pretty nice. May not be G14 quality, but for $600 less (with practically the same specs) i am not complaining. Battery life does suffer do to unchangeable refresh rate, but an update could change that in the future. You will not be dissapointed with this laptop for whatever your needs are!

At the time of writing, this laptop easily beats other laptops with similar specs on price-point. If it ever goes on sale, it will be a steal. Almost all other 5070 TI laptops are well over $2K with only 16gb of RAM! This one has 32gb and a Core Ultra 9 Series 2 processor at sub $2K price. The OLED panel is beautiful with its inky blacks at 240hz. Buy while it's available.
