Only reason for the 3 stars is because some of the components are proprietary limiting future upgradability. Runs all the games I want it too on high settings.

Great value, great PC, bad cooling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The system itself is overall very good, and especially good for the price when purchased on sale. Have had no issues running any of the games that I play running at 1440p minimum 120fps and even upwards of 200fps or more for some titles with no issues, that is until you start looking at the cooling of this system. The temps are very unstable and CPU temps have gone all the way up to 100c a couple of times, although only briefly, and have hovered around the 95c range with some regularity. The GPU also has gone over 80-90c from time to time which may not be the worst for just some temp spikes but it just speaks to how bad the cooling in the system is overall. I guess corners had to be cut somewhere to make this good machine be able to go on sale for $1550 USD pretty regularly. I suspect there is also at least some bottlenecking going on because of GPU usage, but it hasn't hindered performance at all so far, so I won't mark them off for that. Overall great machine but do keep an eye on those temps, maybe a 3rd party software for fan management will help or even replacing the CPU cooling system altogether. I've had this system for about 2 weeks and am very happy with my upgrade but the temps do have me concerned for the longevity of the system.

On Saturday morning it turned on but did not load up. The screen logo came on, then went black. For the amount of money that this computer costs, we felt it was not right to have to fix it, so we returned it.

Fortnite, World of Warcraft, Diablo IV, just looking to add more NVMe M.2 2TB or more in the first upgrade. From some reviews I’ll be reacher ACER directly for the information enjoy buyers!
