I received this unit and it looks like I got sent a refurbished unit. There was no packaging protection, there are small chips, scratches, dents everywhere. Plugged it in and there are MANY little blinking red pixels all over the screen that are super small but noticeable. I looked again at the description and specs. It is NOT listed as a refurb. I should have received a new monitor. Poor form Best Buy. This is the second bad transaction I have had in three months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Do not buy an Acer product! I can't even begin to tell you the problems. First, the easy but pathetic one. I registered the product and received a confirmation; however, every time I called (which was 6 times over 2 weeks), they said the monitor wasn't registered. I went back and forth trying to get audio and video to work and they never even had my warranty info even though I registered it.
