This monitor replaced my second monitor which failed. It has a beautiful picture, even brighter than my main monitor. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to its capabilities in that regard, but for general use, it's excellent.

This monitor is the perfect size. We added it to another monitor so we could have dual programs running. Clear quality and very efficient.

I bought this monitor for $150. For that price it is a good monitor. Pros: - Only $150 for decent, 27" monitor - Relatively thin and light - Inputs on back of monitor extend straight back (i.e. horizontal) which I prefer over monitors that have inputs which are directed straight down (i.e. vertical); horizontal inputs make it easier to connect the monitor cables and also keep them out of sight - Power input to the monitor is provided through a barrel plug with a thin cord; this is much smaller and less cumbersome than the three-prong connection on the back of most monitors - Audio out is available on the back of the monitor; audio is sent to the monitor through HDMI if that's the connection you're using and can then be sent to speakers or headphones through the output on the back of the monitor - VESA mounting points on back of monitor Cons: - Monitor stand is not super stable, I would highly recommend using a monitor arm for this monitor since it is already VESA compatible - ACER's monitor software does not work with this monitor for some reason, so all monitor settings must be adjusted using the buttons on the bottom of the monitor which as everyone knows can be frustrating - Picture quality is just fair; the colors are bright and look good, but I would not recommend this monitor for gaming; there is some issue with either the refresh rate or something else that causes game video to look stuttery and not smooth; I have a Dell SE2717HR side by side with it, and the Dell provides a much smoother gaming experience even though it's rated at a lower refresh rate (for reference, I had the Acer monitor and Dell monitor both connected to my PC using DisplayPort-to-HDMI cables and I was using a Radeon 570 graphics card); watching videos only didn't seem to show much of a difference between the Acer and the Dell

The picture quality looks nice, but the stand tilts back and cannot be adjusted. I'd much prefer if it doesn't tilt.

The screen quality is clear and bright. It is easy to set up.

My son is into gaming and wanted this as a second monitor. It is working great for him. He now has both monitors running when he games.
