The good: It's a 27-inch screen that makes the video games I play look really big on it. Also, useful for working on writing reviews about products on the bestbuy.com site. The bad: Um... it's... um.. an Acer? Is that a bad thing? I don't know. Maybe. Overall: I've had this thing for a little over two years and I really like it. Get one. Get two. But mount them on an arm so you can swivel them here and there when you get bored of writing reviews for products (because face it, you're not going to get bored of playing video games (and if you do... man you are playing the wrong ones)). Sidenote: If you buy two of these and put them on swivel arms and play video games, you can pull the screens so that you have them right in front of your eyes and it can act as a VR headset... I think. Try it. It might work. Just a thought.

Need it for gaming or just to add a second monitor. But don’t have much money to spend

My husband loved the monitor it now he does not need glasses to read at the computer.

Bought this monitor on black friday, I was super close to buying a used monitor on FB marketplace... glad I didn't! It was on sale for $120 and I now use it for my xbox one x and streaming, fast reaction time and acer is definitely the way to go!

My wife is controller for a company and works from home several days a week. She works with finance and accounting spreadsheets open on her screen. This monitor is a great improvement over her previous monitor. Great for her use.

I had to replace another Acer that had given me many years good service. This is a little bigger, a little brighter, has more clarity of color. I am very happy with this choice and will probably continue to purchase their products.

Bought as monitor for fixed laptop. Was surprised at the color. Very nice and bright. Good clarity as well. Never bought Acer monitors before, but will definitely put them at the top of my list for good value for the price, $149 on sale.

I love the size of this monitor! As a student I usually have multiple things open at once that I am using simultaneously and the 13” screen on my MacBook just doesn’t cut it. It’s no Retina display, but definitely a great option for an affordable price.

Purchased two of these for side/side duel monitors on my desk. They work great.

I bought this monitor to use as 3rd extended monitor on my laptop. I first tried the DVI --> HDMI cable and Windows 10 would not recognize the monitor. I updated the driver. I spent about 25 minutes trying to get it to work, but no luck. Next day I tried it with VGA cable and it worked!!! After about 5 to 6 days of working, I moved around the positioning of my other monitor so I could move it closer to my laptop screen. Suddenly the visuals on the monitor got very distorted. I made sure cable was plugged in correctly and tried to update the driver one more time. I completed powered down the laptop and restarted it. No luck. I tried again with the DVI cable. No luck. Just for the heck of it I tried it with HDMI to HDMI cable also. No luck. Windows just would not detect this monitor no matter what I did. I even got the software from Acer website to installed it. Still no luck. In this process, I came to find out that this monitor was actually manufactured in 2011. I don't know why it's now being sold in 2017 (nearly 2018). After finding out the manufactured date, I am not surprised the monitor did not work well with Windows 10. I only tried to use as an extended monitor (2nd and 3rd) - it did not work. I don't recommend this monitor if you're wanting to use it as an extended monitor.

We purchased this larger Acer monitor to replace another Acer monitor that was still working after many years of daily use, but was smaller in size. This larger monitor has proven to be a perfect choice! Acer is tops in quality and value!

This monitor looks great. I love the fact that it is thin and also bezel less.

Picked 2 of these up on black Friday for $119 a piece. Set them up and the quality is wonderful. 178 degree viewing angle- they are definitely not lying. The picture is the same no matter what angle you look at it from. Great monitors.

You really can't go wrong with this monitor. Rich colors and images are sharp. Set up is a breeze. Over time I have purchases 2 of these for home use, one for work and another one for my daughter; and they are all still working. Love it!
