I needed extra screen space to expand my MacBook screen for certain work projects that needed several documents open at once. It was easy to set up and has a nice quality visual.

Large, solid workhorse of a monitor

Great Monitor

Refresh rate is snappy with crisp resolution. Much prefer the simple stand over a lot of competitor's sharp angled garish designs.

I didn't open the box though and try it out because I realized that I didn't need it. The size of the monitor looked ideal though for fitting on a small office desk, but large enough to see things on nicely.

Big Monitor for Small Price.

Good for a cheap larger monitor

So I bought 2 because I always run multiple monitors on either of my setups. PROS: -nice size for cost when on sale -it has the VESA mounts -it has more input formats than most monitors. VGA, DVI, and HDMI. Also has the headphone/sound out jack, which can be very important to some. CONS: -Less than desirable color spectrum, having this monitor set beside the AOC monitor of approximately same price, the Acer monitor had a washed out look, it could not achieve the same levels of black as the AOC. This could not be corrected through the settings. -It is very uncomfortable on the eyes compared to the AOC, or even the older LG monitor that I also use. This is a viable choice if it’s on sale and cost is your primary issue. It does offer a large size for the money, but don’t expect to be impressed by the picture quality
