I needed a laptop that allowed me to watch youtube videos while browsing the web. and run Windows Office applications. It far exceeded my expectations. I have Youtube videos on 1 Screen (720p through HDMI) while browsing on another. there is almost no lag in dual monitor mode. don't let the 1.1 Ghz rating fool you - it performs better than my old 1.33Ghz ASUS. Netflix runs with no problem either. And It's better than the Dell entry level laptop which has serious lag when you watch videos while browsing and using 2 screens. I had to return that one. I would give it 5 stars, but 4 for now since it's a refurbished machine, I want to see first if it holds-up. It feels new though. I will update this review in 6 months to a year if possible. hopefully I can give it the 5 stars it deserves.

I found this laptop at a steal. The specs are amazing at half the price. It's super fast and the speakers are super loud. Best find at best buy

It has held up well with daily use of a six year old boy. He enjoys having his very own laptop. While I do not use this I have heard very few complaints from him or his Mom about its performance

They shipped without power cords

Bought 2 of these for my kids. Received without power cords or any other material. Just a laptop in plastic sleeve and an Acer flyer. Spent 30 minutes between online chat and in-person call to get resolved - which consisted of $25 credit / item. Next I had to find 2 compatible power adaptors (there are many from $13-$40?!). Android central clarified that all Acer chromebooks use the same power and 45w or 65w will work adequately. Still, not really what I expected or wanted to do. The item said it would ship with a power cord. None was included and Best Buy couldn't really solve, except to give me some $. Lesson learned from buying refurb from Best Buy. Once I get them charged up - I'll evaluate performance, but there are tons of other reviews on the web to get that.
