Just needed a basic laptop. I am very pleased with the picture as this also serves as my TV. It is also a lot faster than my old one. I have the Geek plan so they transferred everything over for me. Very helpful, I'm not computer fluient.

I needed a new laptop, as the old one bit the proverbial dust. This one seems just fine so far, good display, fast, reliable performance, plenty of storage (SSD) and memory (RAM). I haven't actually tested battery performance yet, but Windows 11 settings estimates nearly 6 hours of use.

I was impressed with the performance of this laptop. I use it for my work. Emails, and web browsing, using business tools online. I cannot complaint. Its light weight, I have not felt that the computer heats up. The only think I dont like, but really I dont mind because I use it for work, is that the speakers sounds quality is not great. Other than that, Im super happy with this computer!
Got a good deal on my laptop. Cheap chassis/hinges

I was able to get this Acer laptop on-sale, so the price was good. It was my first Acer.
The things I like about it: HD OLED display, generous SSD and RAM, more-than-adequate Intel processor, useful Acer apps for monitoring and support.
I read complaints by others about the built-in speakers. Mine are adequate for my needs, but I'm not an audiophile who needs HD Dolby stereo to play a YouTube video.
Others complained about the numeric keypad being smaller than the normal keys. It is, but I don't find this to be an issue.
My main complaint about the keypad is that it doubles as navigation keys (start/end, page up/down) so I find myself pressing NumPad on and off to type and edit. A separate set of navigation keys would be nice. (My Lenovo has this.)
My main complaint is that one of the laptop hinges broke within a few weeks of normal home use. No damage or abuse caused this. Poor hinges is a common complaint with Acers.
So, I had my first experience with Acer customer support. The process was simple enough. But you MUST mail-in (or hand-deliver) your Acer to an authorized service center. (For me, the closest one is more than a 2.5 hour drive.) And you can expect a couple of weeks before you get it back. (My Lenovo had an at-home repair warranty which was MUCH, MUCH nicer. I would have paid extra for this service on the Acer, but it was not available.)
Replacing hinges is not a job for amateurs. Removing the case for the display to free and replace a hinge can easily break the display screen because things are sealed with strong, double-sided tape. So, I didn't attempt it.
Bottom line: Nice laptop with the right stuff at a good price (on-sale) but cheap chassis construction. Acer should really invest in a better chassis and hinges.

This laptop feels really premium to use. I love the low power draw and thus less heat. The numpad is unfortunate waste of space as others have noted, but the keyboard is alright for a laptop. Trackpad is nice. The screen is amazing to look at. Really clear and awesome color. Easier to run games play just fine. Even some demanding ones can run sort of ok on lowest settings.
General use of the laptop feels quite snappy. Other laptops have felt sluggish to me just launching a web browser or using the OS itself. This one somehow is quick.

Bought for my son for college. He loves it and it’s a huge step up from the basic laptops. Screen is top notch and the thinness and weight are perfect.

Purchased about a month ago. I mainly bought it to edit photos and because of the 3K OLED screen. Colors are amazing. Photos print out beautifully. The touch screen is a +. Keyboard is smooth easy touch. The keys on the number pad aren't a problem as I have small hands. I love how light weightit is and asy to take with. I'm very happy with this laptop it!

I quite like it. Came from an Acer VivoBook with the Ryzen 5 to this and it’s much faster. I like the case, it feels sturdy. The touch screen is a little whacky sometimes and jumps around when it’s sitting on my lap.

I picked up this laptop from Best Buy during Christmas for an incredible deal at $650, and it easily beat every competitor at that price point.
If you’re looking for a lightweight 16-inch laptop that’s easy to carry around, this is an excellent choice. The 3K OLED display is stunning — videos look vibrant, sharp, and immersive. The speakers are average, which is typical for laptops in this class, but still perfectly fine for everyday use.
Acer’s tech support has been excellent, which adds confidence to the purchase. The NumPad is narrower than standard, but if you only use it occasionally, it’s completely manageable.
Windows 11 paired with Copilot has been surprisingly helpful, and the OS improvements alone make upgrading your laptop worthwhile. The Intel Ultra 7 CPU runs fast and smooth across all apps, from productivity to entertainment.
Overall, the Acer Swift 16 AI is a reliable, solidly built laptop with great performance and an exceptional display. I fully recommend purchasing it — especially from Best Buy if you can catch a deal like I did.

I like really great graphics. I am not a gamer, so cannot speak to that. This laptop does everything I need. I am very particular about graphics and this exceeds my expectations. It is light weight.

I liked everything about this laptop, having been a Geek Squad tech for 20 years before, Acer was one for he cheapest brands and quality before. But this new Swift line up impressed me, the aluminum chassis felt nice but the 16" weighed as light as most 14". The OLED screen was absolutely gorgeous. Ultimately for me this laptop didn't work out since I do a lot of virtualization and need 32gb ram at minimum and this Acer has only 16gb option and not upgradable due to the new Lunar Lake CPU architecture.
