I previously owned rock band for 360 and guitar hero for ps2. I loved these games so i figured i would give this one a try. This one is very different from the previous games. I wish that there were more show cases instead of just having the live tv. But it was still a good buy.

I bought the guitar hero two guitar combo with free promo mic for my daughter for Christmas. The guitar hero mic works well but you can only attach two guitars or a guitar and the mic. So if you where hoping for rock band light, guitar hero only lets two people play at a time

Have not used this. Has GH logo on it. Standard run of the mill usb mic. You will need some type of USB adapter to use the mic while using 2 guitars, for some reason activision did not want to hook the guitars via Bluetooth like rockband 4 does. Ps4 only has 2 USB ports.

I don't really use the microphone, and only got it for my friends to use while they're over. So far, it seems to be pretty good! It's a lot more responsive than the guitar, because it's a USB connection, and doesn't seem to have the lag that the guitar sometimes gets.

I haven't used this microphone for Guitar Hero Live yet, I am only reviewing it based on it being a free pre-order bonus for the game. I'm extremely pleased that I didn't have to pay for another peripheral for the game which could've set me back $50+ dollars.

So I give this 3 stars for the following reason. It was a great price, free! It came with my preorder of Guitar Hero Live, and it works, so that is good too, so all 5 stars for that. 1 star for Best Buy's way of handling this, I ordered Guitar Hero to come to my house and it showed up 10am on release day, but I had to actually drive to my local store to pick this free item up, why not ship it with the guitar, probably wouldn't cost anything and there was enough room in the box for 2.5 guitar hero boxes. Luckily I live 1 mile from Best Buy, if it was more than 5 minutes away I would have just let them keep it, only reason I even took the time to get it was because I was picking up another game at the local store.

We have not actually used the microphone, so I can not comment on how it works. But I have looked at it unpackaged, and it looks really nicely made. Has a long cord so you would not need to be right next to TV when using it. seems well constructed.

Guitar hero live makes you feel like a star, while you inevitably annoy your household with constant singing. The game immerses you like none in the series have before. The song list can use a bit of work, but I think that's a personal preference.

I already purchased this once for myself, but now I just had to get one for my sister. This game is different from the Guitar Hero we all remember from years past. It is challenging yet fun and I would definitely recommend picking it up!

So we bought this to use with Rock Band 4. We still haven't opened that game, but the mic has worked just fine when used for other purposes. I'll revisit the review (maybe) once we open the game and get to the really important gaming.

This came as a "gift" with the GH Live for XBOX ONE two guitar bundle. We have a mic from the 360 that seems to work just fine. Not much else to say - basically the same MIC. Happy gaming! Wireless would net it a five star rating.

This USB microphone is great. Solid build quality. Although if you already own 2 guitars and have no extra USB slot to plug in the microphone you can always plug headphones into your dualshock 4 and that will function as a mic.

It's an ok microphone, it is a logitech one. It works well, not great just what it's meant to do. Just wish that I could play it without having to have to use the guitar controller at the same time. I just want to sing! Haha.

It works well and is an awesome addition to the game. Now, when I have a lot of people over, its not a one man show and it really gets everyone involved. The wire is annoying but it is long enough to reach anyone on my couch.

We got the microphone with the purchase of Guitar Hero. It came in a plastic bag (no other packaging). We have used it a few times since purchasing Guitar Hero. We bring it out while hosting our game nights just to have one singer and two guitarists. When it's my husband and I playing Guitar Hero, we usually let out 2 year old toddler take the mic and everyone is happy.

Honestly this is hands down the best guitar hero I ever played so far and I'm so glad they changed the controls on the guitar. It's so much better this way and offers even more of a challenge as for the game itself it's honestly an all win, 5/5 is much deserving. P.s. Don't forget your free microphone like I did at first if the offer is still valid of course

It's good for multiplayer, since add on guitar controllers aren't available just yet. I understand it being wired because it needs to be accurate and wireless tends to mess up. It feels fine albeit a little small.

Purchased this for my son who has been an expert at all previous versions of Guitar Hero for the Wii and PS3. He says this one is more fun because he had to learn to play it again which makes more challenging.

The microphone works decently. It seems to have a slight lag to it and the game hasn't seemed to pick it up at all times. We haven't really used it much so far though so it may just take some getting used to.

Have not used mic yet but have used 2 guitars simultaneously, 2 additional usb connections on back of Xbox. Like that when you play each other you play whole songs not just parts like previous versions.
