First of all: the Geek Squad never showed up. Best Buy sent a contractor (who later admitted that he had no training on audio systems) It is now one month later and, although I was called out of town, my system remains hooked up incorrectly (just exactly as the contractor left it on 9/24/2024). Your ‘off shore’ telephone customer service is TERRIBLE. You folks better send the Geek Squad next month for my appointment. If you send a contractor, that doesn’t know what they are doing, I will send them away and get my money back from my credit card company. Wake up, BEST BUY !! This is when you REALLY NEED TO GET A DISTRICT MANAGER (level) involved to make certain that you get this right this time. LAST CHANCE! I’ve been VERY patient throughout this debacle. Call me if you need more detail regarding this matter

What a disaster. This was my birthday present and Best Buy ruined it. The guy they sent to install it was apparently clueless because it shut off within 3 hours of him being here. We called, emailed, and posted trying to get someone else out here to fix it, and Best Buy couldn't have cared less. In addition to ruining the birthday, they made us wait tow weeks, which ruined the Memorial Day party - no music. And, to top it off, they sent the same guy two weeks later. What a joke. He blamed it on wires he hadn't bothered to check shorting out. Really? Well, it still doesn't work. It turns on when it wants and turns off when it wants. We even sent certified letters to the corporate office complaining - no response. they should be ashamed and give us back all our money for the unit and the install so we can start over elsewhere. Oh, I asked for that and they said no because the install was my birthday present from my sister and she paid for it on a gift card. What a joke. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LET THESE PEOPLE INSTALL ANYTHING FOR YOU!

I was not thrilled with my home theater setup. I purchased a wall mounting for 2 TVs, in wall concealment, and A/V hookups. When the techs came to my house, their order only had me set up for the wall mounting part of it. It’s fair to say that I wasn’t thrilled. I had invited company over to my house to check out my new home theater but I had to postpone it. I went to the store to get situation rectified only to find out that they couldn’t come back out for another month. I talked to the manager there who gave me a little credit for my troubles but that really didn’t take away my anger considering it was their fault. Would’ve been 1 star if it wasn’t for the manager.

Setup team did well and the system was functioning. The next day when turned on, no audio emminated from the AV unit. Calls to the installed could not remedy the issue so another service call was suggested and requested.

Job performed as I requested. Techs are always helpful and accommodating.

I dont understand why to cancel the order and just reschedule the whole process was so annoying. Not happy, im not sure if this is my stop for future purchases.
