    Connected my tape deck, DVD player, CD player. Dislike the fact that i now have to use 2 remotes. One to turn on sound thru receiver and the second to turn on cable and TV. Wish i could control from one remote.

    Nothing Troubleshot. Not Worth The Money

    I was pulled away from the geek squad counter by the sales agent in the stereo/home theatre section to tell me, ""they", Geek Squad"", doesn't help trouble shoot setting up my home theatre system. Geek squad only does computer set up and such. Anyways, that I needed to use her "tech guy". So naive that I may be I go with it. Paid $280, for a guy to come to my home. Look at my system, not rearrange cables, not reaarange speaker cabeling, not trouble shoot hdmi might be in wrong port and thats why you dont have sound, not even turn Denon receiver on and TRY to address anything! Then tells me, "you probably don't want to hear this but you need a New Receiver. Your reveiver is out dated (10years old) and isn't compatible to your smart TV". Literally same TV thats been connected to it for the last 10yrs and trying to get the surround sound working again, due to teenagers rearranging wires/cords for gaming purposes, and I neither have the time or patience to troubleshoot the issue. Guy leaves. Nothing "troubleshot". Nothing working. I will be down this week to collect my my refund. I don't think this should be a service offered or at the very least should only be a referenced item by Geek Squad if they truly don't do home theatre.

    I was okay with the Geek Squad from Morehead City NC Store with what they did to hook up the TV. I am very unhappy with my Jacksonville NC Store with my Sales Person and the Geek Squad which both had told me that all the equipment would work when it came time for my installation… So I am not happy with the outcome of my service because when the Morehead City Geek Squad came to do the installation I was disappointed with what the Geek Squad had to say and that was my equipment was not going to work with my New TV… I am not Happy with my resolve and my equipment setup is still not working in the manner in which I was looking far it to work…

    he installed the receiver and made connections from and to identical equipment. he made an attempt at coordinating the remotes but said he did not have the computer with him ?
