    a not even a week after hooking up the unit messed up the TV reception and sound. the direct installer claimed the unit was hooked up wrong.

    It was nice to have wires connected correctly, but the process of adjusting the speakers, etc was not worth the cost. Basic setup that could have easily been performed myself

    Everything purchased from sales person was wrong when technician arrived . It was all returned and never heard back , only from technician. Also website wasn’t working properly

    The agent that installed my Marantz SR6015 made one major mistake. He connected the cable input connection to the cable box output connection. I was chasing that one around for quite a while before I found it and got cable working. He set up the device well but was in too big of a hurry.

    WHEN WILL THE GEEK SQUAD PROPERLY SET-UP MY AVR?

    Scheduled installation for 4/8/21 not performed as Geek Squad technician not comfortable with performing install. One week later on 4/16/21 a different Geek Squad technician installed the Denon Receiver according to how he felt it should be done but not according to Denon protocol and receiver and connected audio/video devices not working correctly and audio components not connected at all. Newly scheduled appointment time for 5/14/21 as confirmed with email from Best Buy on 5/11/21 ignored and technician promised for install by Best Buy In-Home Advisor on 5/11/21 ignored as well and technician that improperly connected receiver on 4/16/21 and I requested not to be resent to my home sent anyway on 5/14/21. Best Buy's Geek Squad Installation Team has no interest in fulfilling what has been promised to the customer but only getting in/out as quickly as possible regardless of what actually needs to be performed.

    The technician who was sent to install the receiver was not knowledgeable. He left the job half done. His supervisor then came but too was not able to finish the job. It took Geek Squad 4 different technician to complete the work. Very disappointed by the service for the price they charged me

    I wanted to get 2 ceiling speakers installed in my living room. There is attic access. I went into BB, explained my request, was told it would be no problem. They made me pay for the service up front, scheduled the install about 2 weeks out. When the tech arrived. He looked at the job and said that he would not be able to do it. no explanation given. I had to go back to store for a refund. I hired another company who performed the install in about 90 minutes - no issues.

    They could not set up the equipment. They came out a total of six times and each time they did nit even know what they were supposed to set up. They also were hours late on multiple occasions a truly horrible experience unfortunately.

    Geek squad installed TV too high on the wall

    Geek squad poorly installed 65 in TV so that while watching you have to look up, which causes neck pain. I checked several online guides and measured the height and routinely every article shows my tv is 6 to 10 inches too high. Very disappointed as I cannot enjoy my new purchase.

    Really disappointed? This is my 3rd appointment just trying to get help understanding Dirac. But they tell me they're gonna send someone from their Magnolia side. A level 2 Tech and then send me another Geek Squad member i ask for help understanding dirac He takes one measurement when it's asking for 13 and then hes done well thats not helping understand anything and the funny part is he says this is a job for a Magnolia team well That's who's supposed to be here why tell me You're sending a Magnolia team member. And then send me another Geek Squad member? I just don't understand it.

    The Geek Squad came to work on my sound system. It worked when they left but later conked out. I called Zach and followed his directions. It still didn’t work. Zach said he would call back but he never did. IT STILL DOES NOT WORK!!

    Not pleased with tech service I received. Tech that came out to house, only hangs TV's on walls and hooks up cables. He tried to please, but did not know Denon Receiver controls or Sony TV controls (programing functions). I went to my Best Buy store and told them of the problems I'm having with Receiver and TV. Three of the Home Theater Sales Specialist I talked to didn't have an answer; thus, decided they would schedule a Level 2 Tech (Nathan Dunham) out to my house. Nathan's name was put in the scheduling request. Someone in a glass office in Denver decided to do their own scheduling. Thus, problem still not solved. Where is Best Buy Magnolia Care promise to deliver exceptional level of customer service. Words are cheap. *

    You purchase the order on the system and pick a date. Instead nobody calls it’s a 12 hour window and they say yes sorry even though you made the appointment it’s not showing up in our system. Even though you have a receipt. Call and make appointments with these guys, because if you use their system to schedule, I promise you will be waiting all day and find out nobody shows. Because of their stupid computer system!!!! Unsatisfactory!!!! This has happened at least 3-4 times!!!

    These guys came on Wednesday and said I needed a new cable so I went and bought it yesterday. They said they'd be here at nine a m this morning and he called me and said he forgot to put it on his schedule. My t v doesn't work and i've got twenty five people coming over here to this evening to watch the college basketball
