    Setup came to a halt when audio/video was not working on receiver. Geek squad agent did not take initiative to troubleshoot and resolve. Left me to figure it out in my own.

    Not pleased with the desire to get all up perfectly. Limited time allocated. Had to return. The second person better than the first then he said someone would be back to finish and the first person returned. I will use a different audio setup company next time to meet my needs.

    left cables all strewn in a mess, asked to tidy and bundle up. did so tight and short cant move a thing. should have left just a foot or so of free play.... kids!

    Geek Squad Needs to Complete the Entire Task

    The set up by the Geek Squad was far from satisfactory. They were supposed to connect my surround sound but failed to connect the sub woofer. Checked it and found out it did not work but never attempted to fix it.

    I'm so disappointed!!! i had my mom and dad order a samsung tv, denon receiver and headphones from you with full geek squad support. I arrive for a visit and nothing works!!

    Gave a temporary fix of my stereo connections, communication with tech and appointments was terrible.. $129.00 service fee each time they came to my home and unable to figure out the stereo issue.. suggested I come to store and purchase a replacement unit. I contacted customer service of the manufacturer and they were able to walk me through reset the system.. works great now..they were able to convert my wired speakers to wireless and that was positive..

    reciever not working properly after reinstalled

    The reciever is failing to work again. The yamaha reciever quit working when it was first installed. Then after multiple home visits it was determined the reciever needed work. I took the reciever in and got it back a few weeks later. I had to set up an install and it worked for a few days. Now it does not work again

    Unhappy with lack of ability to view live TV

    After the technicians were finished and explained everything. They left and when I tried to record a show on DirectTV, I could not access the guide as well as not able to view liveTV. This happened the first time when they first installed the TV, and again after mounting the TV on the wall. I’m very disappointed that I have missed a number of college and NFL football games. I’m hoping someone can come by tomorrow (Saturday, December 31st) and fix what is every wrong with the connection. Thanks, Jack Reed I

    The guys showed up and installed our outdoor TV. They said they'd be back the following week to finish the job and we've never heard from them again. What they DID do was good but they didn't complete what they said. Very disappointing.

    Been schedule four time now and still not completed and can't call the store to find out why they have not show up. When you call you are speaking to someone who doesn't speak english very good.

    The August 10th audio repair between my Samsung smart TV and Bose surround sound system worked fine for less than a month and then went silent. Cox service reestablished monaural sound through the TV. Cox said Geek Squad made an unorthodox connection that was bound to fail. It still doesn't work properly. What to do?

    First of all they try to charge me for unnecessary charges they they guy came to my place for fixing problems he can fix or explain what happened or what should i do in that situation, i ended up buying new av receiver and that brand new out off box onkyo still power light don't work, i give up i don't want anymore, it's in the box, just waste of my money and mostly my time and energy , just to let you know I am a big customer in Best Buy I always do shop I have a account with you guys you guys can track me easily

    The worst experience I have ever encountered; I knew I was in trouble the second I saw the Geek Squad pull up in a Penske rental truck at 7:30 PM . Apparently, I was the last on their list for the day. The next day when I discovered they didn't program my internet and there was no sound on my DVD player, I called and left a message for them to return and fix these things, I am still waiting for a callback. Caveat emptor.

    They installed everything and has been back 3 times because the receiver keeps tuning on by itself. Still not fixed and now I’m being ignored after calling and emailing Stephen Pross.

    The department that set up this appointment only allowed 45 minutes to unhook all of the components from my old receiver, plug all of them into the Denon receiver, program the Denon receiver and set up my Harmony remote control to the new receiver. I was explicit when I made the appointment, and they only allowed 45 minutes for all of that! Ridiculous. I now wait for another appointment and am praying for success so that I can enjoy all of the features this $2000.00 receiver. I ordered it in mid-October. It was not the agent's fault - it was the fault of the scheduler!!!
