    they had to come over twice and still did not get it right!! i was told it was my xfinity box , then my marantz receiver, then my harmon kardon speakers, which i bought speakers and receiver from best buy. I decided to get another opinion from a competitor. in 10 minutes he had everything working properly and have not had a problem since. he did tell me it was wired wrong! in the last 3 years i have purchased 12 to 15 thousand dollars in tv's, appliances, and audio equipment from best buy. don't think i will be purchasing again from best buy. I expect no special treatment but i would like to get what i have paid for!

    Never use geek squad for anything more than mounting; complete incompetence all around; I’m sure other locations may be good but west county St. Louis is terrible; I had sound room come out and they did it easily no questions asked NEVER again will I go with Best Buy or geek squad for home theater needs completely useless people at the helm

    Happy with my Sonos amp not happy with it not being completely finished keep getting the run around from geek squad this has been going on since mid March not happy

    Receiver and component set up.

    Geek squad (Michael Turner out of Columbus, GA) set up receiver and components but ran the TV through the receiver. Now when the TV is powered up a HOME screen menu for the receiver comes and you have to use the receiver remote and navigate through two screens to get to TV. Called the next day, left message, no return call for several days. So called again in couple of days and got Mr. Turner. Explained problem. He didn't know why and would research it and get back to me. Heard nothing from him since.

    The men were condescending and installed the largest equipment on top of the stack so it is very hard to see the buttons to push to work the equipment. I shall try and find friends to restock the equipment so I can use it easily. The geek squad personal were not nice people!!!

    Used Geek squad in Fargo, ND, and regret the service. initially came to my hose and gave a wrong estimate, then squedule 3 visit far apart and prolnged sime home theater setup over amonth, seemed incompetant.

    Good Geek Squad agent. Not happy with $1000 pioneer receiver. Unit is acting way to buggy and quirky.

    Don’t trust Best Buy’s claims department.

    The tech drilled into our wall and cut wires. They promised us a claims rep would reach out to us in 72 hours. Almost two weeks later we finally get a reply from their claims department. They won’t reimburse us for our time that we were waiting for them to respond to calls and emails. We will probably be without use of our kitchen and living room for over a month. This is the worst. No one is helping us. I’ll never use Best Buy Geek Squad again.

    Terrible! I’ve had the same crew out twice, the first time they didn’t explain anything because they were overbooked? Not my fault. The second time they came out they literally told me to jiggle the wire behind my TV when the sound doesn’t come on which is virtually every time I go to watch the system.! Unreal!! Terrible experience! 1/2 star or perhaps a 1/4.

    I paid for this some time ago, and it has never been installed. I would like a refund for the item, and installation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amin handled my order,and I have emailed him twice, but he has never had the coutesy to reply to me!!!

    Incomplete setup and came on the wrong day. Had to schedule another appointment requested morning. Got a phone call saying they would be right there and 5 hours later and no one has arrived

    The first time, the techs ran out of time to wire the system and install the rail covers. Although I was informed that Geek Squad would set up a follow-up, I had to do it myself. The original tech also did not come out and speak to me at the store. During the second appontment, Geek Squad installed most of the railing the second time; however, Geek Squad failed to install the railing directly behind the bed. No, I would not consider them again for this type of project.

    It took 12 appointments to finally get what I needed done. I'm still waiting for the service rep to send me what device I should buy to make the remote IR with my equipment

    Disappointed in the results geek team was personal and knowledgeable but did not provide the necessary fixes to my problems of home entertainment system not being able to access my projector screen with picture using a remote and switch. I have to follow up with them to have the guys back out to program my remote and integrate TV RECEIVER AND PROJCTOR

    Did not ensure that all speakers were working properly on AV surround received (only center and back). Wanted quickest fastest and didnt seem to care about quality

    Geek Squad service has deteriorated and is horrible. My remote still has an error message. Tech was a NO SHOW twice. I will not renew this service. What a mess!
