The door was reversed in a timely fashion, though the delivery man was shorted two screws for the reversal. None were on his truck, so he made due with two. Both men were very friendly and efficient.

The fridge works great, but we think you could have done better if your installers had been more careful in reversing and re-balancing the large door. The seal is very good, but opening and closing is not very smooth--maybe it will improve with use. While the reversal was key to getting the fridge into the house, It does not open and close as well as the old one did.

The guys were prompt and efficient at there job It didn't take long. They knew what they were doing. Highly recommend.

Door replaced without incident. Technicians pleasant and professional. Its been about one month since freezer door was replaced and so far everything is working well; no more leaking. Original door was either installed damaged or damaged during install. Technicians on this call different than first team.

Even though the cost was high for a simply door reversal.. IT all worked out in the end...

The door needed to be removed for the refrigerator to fit through my door. Extremely steep pice of $69 especially since I also paid for professional installation.

When my new fridge was delivered, I had the fridge/freezer doors switched to open on the right due to the lay out of my kitchen. The switch off went well, and only took about 15 minutes. After the deliverymen left, and as my new fridge started to cool down, I noticed there was about a 1/8-1/4 inch gap on the freezer hinge side, between the gasket and the edge of the freezer. Cold air was definitely leaking out , and I was concerned, but assumed it was because the hinges had been switched from one side to the other, and the gasket needed to expand. I called 1-888- BEST BUY and was told that was normal, to give it more time to expand, and to call back if things did not improve. Sure enough, the next day the gap was completely gone. And for the first time in decades, I have a fridge opening the right way !! :-)

Great and friendly crew. They worked quickly, were very knowledgeable, and kept the area clean while doing their job.

The individuals that delivered the refrigerator were friendly and courteous. However the water dispenser leaked water onto the floor. A follow up service call may not have been necessary if they tested their work.

LG Top Freezer Refrigerator Model LTCS24223S - (Stainless). Great Refrigerator so far. Only in use for a few weeks. These reviews are sent out too soon. Very pleased with the looks, features, size, and layout. BUT: I had to reverse the door hinge due to the layout of our kitchen. One of the attachment screws of the bottom hinge stripped. Phillips head. Freezer door did not align properly initially. Was out approx. 1/4 inch. After some manipulation was able to correct. Problem is getting a replacement screw. The Geek Squad guy is great. Problem is they can not find a replacement screw from LG (the manufacturer). Geek Squad ordered a bottom hinge, thinking the attachment screws would be included - they were not. 2nd scheduled visit from Geek Squad - guy called to say they still have not located the screw. That was Wednesday - now it is Saturday at 12:29 AM. Guess they are still working on it. No problem with refrigerator - works great - looks great (so far). No problem with Best Buy/ Geek Squad - they are trying to get the parts. Problem is with LG - the Manufacturer. Come on "LG", this is a 3 cent screw. You need to stock and supply replacement parts for your product. I haven't given up yet. We will see how this one ends???

The team was early and resolved door reversal. Of course, they said it should've been done the same day fridge was installed. I told them that I was told I have to make a separate appointment and pay another $50! This was waived because of all the prior problems I had.

The service team did a great job switching. my new refrig doors. BUT I’m rather upset there wasn’t a reminder, suggestion on the order about what the customer prefers: door open left or right. ?? It was an extra charge to wait & schedule the door switch. This was not suggested anywhere on the order . Grrrr!!!

Installer from Best Buy are nice even they’re kinda young. But hopefully next time they can handle items properly like the way they hang on or put it down. Sometimes they kinda don’t care and a bit dirty. Doors are reversed but not perfect coz freezer door cannot close properly till you push more.

on August 17th I had an appointment to have my refrigerator door reversed, the guy looked at it and said he couldnt do it so I went to best buy and they sent 2 more guys, when they delivered my frig thy didn,t leave the parts to reverse the door so they spent an hour & half trying to do it did not happen waiting to hear back

The installer did a great job but I was told that that the door should have been able to have been reversed when delivered

The two delivery men came on time, but unfortunately the freezer started leaking on the inside. When I returned the fridge, the movers who came to take it back said that the fridge does allow hinge reversal but the seal doesn't work properly with the unit. Either way, happy with the movers. Not so happy with the fridge so I removed a star.

This was a very professional job. The two installers came with a kit for reversing the door and all the tools needed. They actually changed the door outside after unpacking the refrigerator while I watched. They knew exactly what to do and it only took 10 minutes, including testing the door. The end result looked like it was originally built that way. Once they moved and installed the refrigerator they tested the door again, just to be sure.

The 1st schedule install of fridge install company could not perform hinge transfer, the 1st time this happened in the history of mankind. I had to take time out of work to be at my house for install company. A 2nd schedule was set and I got the fridge installed but they refused to live up to the manifest and would install ice maker (which turned out to be the wrong one anyway) . Just be wary of agreement, even though it states will be included in the install, delivery company won't necessary live up to store agreement. That was the last of the good. The new refrigerator has a cracked what I have researched is a Pan Deli Drawer. I have the 888 number and talked to someone and received Basket FZR. Not right. That got picked up and I was sent a Pan-snack drawer. Not right. Called the 888 number 4 more times and wait from 18 to 44 minutes. Each time I was told I was next in line, a ring and cut off. On June 16 when I waited the 44 minutes. Started taking. Said he could see something on my account. Could I hold while he checked something. Went to another system and then cut off because none of the options where right. Went to store in Flint. Started talking, phone rang waited about 20 minutes and left. Need to call 800 or 888 number. Wonder if I will hear anything from this message.

First, we have no quarrel with Best Buy. The service technicians who brought the refrigerator followed the instructions, but the top freezer door just will not close without significant effort. Best Buy sent another person out, and he too determined the reversal kit provided by the manufacturer was not working. Best Buy, with its incredible service, even ordered a replacement refrigerator and is letting us keep this one until the replacement is in stock. Hence, star ratings are for the manufacturer. I give Best Buy 5 STARS!
