Easy to install. Just made cross country trip many of our National Parks. Was able to significantly improve many photos taken of my fiancé with canyons and buttes in the background. Highly recommend for amateur or pros.

I wanted to learn video editing basics and still have software strong enough to do advanced editing as I learned. This met my expectations and has been easy to learn and does a great job. The photo editing has always been great

A little different than Photoshop

I'd call this Photoshop for Beginners. It guides you through all of the processes and have different levels of assistance. It's pretty different than the Photoshop I'm used to at work, but I think I'll like it once I get the hang of it. I'm not sure how I feel about the photo organization system included, as I use my own system for that. I haven't tried Premiere yet, so no comments on the video editing yet. Overall, though, I think this is a good inexpensive option compared to regular Photoshop.

Photoshop is fairly intuitive and user friendly. The premiere elements minimum requirements are for installation of the product only. When I tried to burn a DVD or create a DVD format, the program stated I was low on memory. I had 6GB RAM and the minimum requirement is 2GB RAM. After 4 hours of tech support (2 chats of 2 hours each call), Adobe help desk stated I would need a faster processor, more RAM and new OS (as Windows 7 32 bit has a maximum of 4GB RAM usage - so even if you have more then 4GB RAM you will still receive the memory error). The program is somewhat user friendly but it will not allow you to delete items from your project nor will it advise which items you have already used at least once. This meant I had to create folders for each video section so I would upload only that folder and use those items before uploading the next folder to ensure I didn't use the same photo more than once. It would be great Adobe had a local store like Apple or Microsoft where you could go take classes or ask questions. Only recommend to people who have newer computers with fast processors and lots of RAM.

I first started using photoshop back in 1997 while studying multimedia. This is in fact a watered down version of the full photoshop and premiere, but it is still far more advanced then some of the full version from just a few years ago. I purchased this at an insane discount, getting them for just around $80 for the set. I am extremely happy with this purchase and highly recommend it for people wanting to enter into the digital photo/video editing world.

I have been a user of Adobe Photoshop for about 15 years. This was an upgrade. I did not want to go with the Cloud options, so I purchased the software. I recently learned about using Camera Raw and am glad that this can be opened in Raw, some edits made before being sent to Photoshop. I have some experience with Lightroom; however, have not chosen to purchase the separate software. I still like Photoshop over other products.

It's a nice product but overpriced when others do much the same without trying to bait you for an online subscription--especially after one has already paid for the software which isn't a drop in the bucket. However, it has nice features.

I have Been using Elements for at least the last 10 years. I really like how the organization occurs with tags. Finding some obscure photo of a forgotten friend is so easy. Transferring my catalog to the new version was seamless. I use the raw converter all the time. This is my favorite photo software because it has enough to do almost everything and not too much to be overwhelming.

This software is simple to use. There are guided edits. Also you can find videos to help you do expert-level editing. It is nice because you do not have a monthly subscription. You buy the software and it is yours.

I usually buy these apps when they're bundled and on sale. Even when the bundle is at full price, it's really worth it. Both products give you many of the same features as their respective professional versions. Many professionals will actually find this software suitable to meet their needs. If you're a new user, these apps are a great place to learn about photo and video editing. There are all sorts of guided editing features built in for new users or people who just don't have a lot of time to edit photos and videos. In this version of Photoshop Elements, for example, you can now automatically get rid of hand shake caused by taking selfies, have photoshop eliminate background haze in photos, apply adjustments and other effects automatically using many new guided edits, and have photoshop help you select hair so you can more easily combine elements from different photos. If you're new to photo-editing, accurately selecting hair is one of the hardest things to do in a photo-editing program. There are many features that help people new to movie editing as well. I am a history teacher, and I have applied the Hollywood preset for adding historical looks to my videos (shaky video with lines and scratches). These and the many other presets built in make it easy to apply movie-style effects. You also have the ability to adjust them to your particular taste. The new version makes it easy to apply fast or slow motion effects (good for shots without audio, though), allows you to add more engaging titles, and allows you to create a black and white video with a color pop effect. Premiere Elements can also help you automatically pick appropriate input and export settings. These settings can be daunting for people new to video editing. If you are looking to do multicam editing, you won't find it in this version. You also won't find 3D video editing capability. Rendering speeds are also middle of the road when compared with other commonly purchased software (these last 3 criticisms came from PC Mag's review). If you are only looking for a video editor with these options, you might want to check out the latest version of PowerDirector. If you want both a photo editor and video editor in one, get this bundle. In my humble opinion, there is no photo editor better than Adobe Photoshop, whether or not you get Elements or the pro version. And with this bundle, you get a pretty good video editor as well. Premiere Elements might also be a good way to start before moving on to Premiere Pro. Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects (advanced video compositing and special effects software) are two of the most used pprograms in filmmaking.

I have been using Adobe Photoshop since version 2.5 where all you could basically do is cut and paste. This new photoshop is a photographers dream with organizing your files to creating changes on the fly. It's great for beginners and experts alike.

Works great. It is very resource hungry on PC and slow. However, it does what it is suppose to do. I have an 13 processor. Would work much better with a faster PC.

Purchased Photoshop Elements 14 wanting something for to use for editing wildlife pictures. We have played around with it for a few weeks now and we are still trying to get the hang of it. From what we have done so far it seems like it will be a great program once the in's and the out's are figured out. Online tutorials are available, but would be great if it came with a book for guiding.

I have used Photoshop Elements for a number of years, going from one update to another, I have always found them very good for my editing needs.Photoshop Elements 14 is no different, I have not yet had the time to try out all the new features , but what I have used so far works well. I use a large number of plug-ins and PE 14 seems to adapt well to all of them. I really like the fact there there are many tutorials available online to help with the fine points of using PE14. All in all I am very pleased with this product.

Bought this to fix pictures and adjust clip art. Have used an older version before. Wish it still had the magic eraser feature that older versions had
