I love Photo Shop Elements 13, even though I have issues with its required "plug-in" that you have to go through the process to add your dedicated scanner to the program. Cut-outs are easier in Digital Image Pro and dust removal is unbeatable in Neat Image Pro. Regardless, I love the program.

I am a photo enthusiast and therefore always looking for new tricks and tweaks for editing. While elements is not the full featured Photoshop it has plenty of useful functions for the budget minded. If you are a professional photographer or just have lots extra cash lying around go ahead and spend the $500-$700 for Photoshop but for the average person this was a great deal at under$60 and cheapest I have seen this year so far.

I have been using a very old version of Photoshop (6?) and wanted to update it without using some of the functionality I was used to. I am only doing edits at a hobby level but this program has been fine for me so far. I wasn't sure if it was going to have all the features I want based on various reviews I read online but it does. I don't use the tagging function thus far and wish it had a way to "fade" adjustments (that I could find easily - it may be there). But otherwise it's great especially at half price that I paid.

Another good product from Adobe. Best Buy price was same as Amazon but then i saved 45 using my rewards. I also liked the fact could use for MAC or PC. I would rather own product that having a subscription thru Adobe's creative cloud as you have to pay each year to keep on using.

There is a learning curve. But I am happy with the product. A heads up for all of you that have a WACOM TABLET. Make sure your drivers are up to date. Was having a problem with PSE 14 shutting down.

Semi-advanced Photo Editor. Sure it has it's flaws, what software doesn't. But, it also has it's advantages too. Interface can get a little confusing but, you learn to navigate with a little usage.

Bought this for family member just getting started with photography. They are very pleased with it although there is much to it and so there is a lot to learn.

Almost too feature rich. Trying to do a simple photo crop or red eye correction gets unnecessarily complicated. But with practice a lot can be done.

I've been using photoshop for many years, since about 2.0. I've tried every single version and when I got my new MacBook Pro I needed new software to go with it. This has all the functions I need and it was a great deal - I rather buy the software (and elements is so much more affordable than the regular photoshop), than pay for cloud subscription forever. My MacBook doesn't have a cd drive, so I downloaded the program from adobes website then used the code that comes in the box to install.

I purchased and used Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for several years and decided to upgrade to Elements 14. I'm glad I did! I also told my daughter she would probably find it useful as well...she has. It is basic enough to understand right out of the box and I'm beginning to learn some of the more advanced techniques. You will not be sorry if you purchase this photo editing software!!!

Still need to create an Adobe ID

I was hoping to avoid creating an Adobe ID by buying a retail copy of Elements but to activate the product you are forced to create an Adobe account. Not surprising but very annoying if you are installing for someone else as a surprise since you need to link it to an email account and it emails a confirmation. Also the new Elements launcher is very pushy about getting Premier so you have to launch the Editor directly (it is inside the Support Files folder) to avoid having to choose a picture editor and launching a second program every time.
